Jesus Tap Dancing Christ.....let it go already.
He is who he is and there's nothing that's going to change about that.
If there were a better option, I feel sure we'd have taken it.
10 wins and an East Division title is way more than any of us could have possibly asked for, given all of the obstacles this team overcame, and no matter your opinion of Harris, he directly contributed to winning those games in the East after Grier decided to Grier his way out of the starting job. Was it ever pretty? No, it wasn't ever the most aesthetically pleasing offensive juggernaut product on the field. A couple of Grier's starts weren't either, even though according to this board, the kid was the second coming of Joe Montana. Grier over Harris? Of course, that's an easy choice given how the season unfolded from start to finish. Unfortunately, Grier didn't run out of the tunnel for half the season because of his mistake, nor will he be running out of it for 7 weeks next year.
Next season will be better, regardless of who's taking snaps from center, as I feel pretty confident that Del Rio, a grad transfer, or one of the two EE qbs(whichever or both we may get) will beat Harris out for the job the same way Grier did.
Whether anyone wants to admit it or not, without Harris, we're not playing in that game yesterday.
