So Meyer will be based in California for his upcoming Fox Sports gig. That makes this an easy transition back to the sidelines in late this year after Helton is fired and Urban’s cysts “heal”. Will he bring another natty to USC? Will he even make the CFP playoffs out there? Discuss.

Meyer shrugs off USC rumors: 'I think I'm done' coaching

If he does end up there, he'll do what he did at all his other stops. Win big and fast, then flame out after 5-7 years due to poor health.

So those poor USC fans would have to suffer with a NC or two before he left? Poor bastards.

Some of you guys are embarrassing. "Sure he wins titles, but he sucks!"

I think Leyer waits until Kelly bolts ND for the NFL in the next year or two then he gets another 'dream job', where he can play even more creampuffs than he did in Columbus.

Restaurant 'Urban Meyer's Pint House' opening this year near Columbus

Former Ohio State football head coach Urban Meyer has kept himself busy since retiring as the leader of the Buckeyes.

He is now the assistant athletic director of athletics initiatives and relations -- yes, a mouthful -- at Ohio State, and is going to appear on FOX's Saturday morning college football show during the new season. And in the midst of all that, the former coach is now opening up a new restaurant just outside Columbus.

Former Ohio State football coach Urban Meyer has another new project on his hands: He'll be opening a restaurant, Urban Meyer's Pint House, in Dublin, Ohio this fall. Urban Meyer's Pint House to Open in Dublin This Fall

Corso Ventures, a Columbus restaurant group, has partnered with the coach to open up Urban Meyer's Pint House in Dublin Ohio.

The restaurant is expected to be ready for business this fall, and it will be modeled after the Short North Pint House in downtown Columbus. And there will be plenty of opportunities to skewer That Team Up North once it's up and running.

Yes, one of the rooms of the new restaurant will pay honor to Meyer's 7-0 record against Michigan. The room will appropriately be named "Urban's 7-0 Room," which will feature a private event space for Meyer's foundation.

The 7-0 Room will also feature awards, trophies, and memorabilia that Meyer received throughout his tenure as the leader of the Buckeyes.

Meyer his taking his talents from the gridiron to the kitchen, and you can bet that the new restaurant will be packed on Saturdays watching Ohio State football.
