Wow, pretty cool. Not sure what benefit going to the Rockies has for this program but we sure are trying! Maybe Stricklin enjoys vacationing here and wants UAA to fund those trips?

Now THAT is the type of out of the box non-conference scheduling I love.
Colorado and Utah four straight years, right? Pretty creative scheduling. Does Miami fall in that window at some point? Hope not... That would make for a pretty rugged OOC - PAC12 team, Miami, and FSU...

2021/2022/2025 - USF
2022/2023 - Utah
2024/2025 - Miami
2026/2027 - OPEN
2028/2029 - Colorado
2030/2031 - Texas

Edit: Even years are HOME (with FSU being away). Odd years are AWAY (with FSU being home).

What are the odds 2026/2027 ends up being a series with USC?

My guess is a Big Ten opponent is more likely, but a trip to the LA Coliseum would be great.

Colorado isn't until 28-29. Miami is 24-25. USF is 21, 22, and 25. Texas is 30-31.

Thanks. So aggregating...

21 - USF/FSU
22 - USF/Utah/FSU
23 - Utah/FSU
24 - Miami/FSU
25 - Miami/USF/FSU
26 - FSU (with the trend towards the PAC12, wonder if we get another one, if we try a Big 10 team, or if UCF gets the invite)
27 - FSU (see 26)
28 - CU/FSU
29 - CU/FSU
30 - Texas/FSU
31 - Texas/FSU

A lot to be excited about in the coming decade. 26/27 are the only off years but hopefully we fill with a cool game. Also, wonder if this signals Stricklin’s opinion on the end of the WLOCP? You’d have to think he’d want to recover the missing home game revenue with all these home and homes scheduled.

That makes me wonder if scheduling a home and home with another P5 opponent saves us money in the long run because we aren't paying some directional or FCS school 7 figures to come get their asses kicked. It'll keep more butts in the seats, too, as opposed to having 1/4 of the seats empty for the sacrificial lamb games. If that's the case, there might not be a need to move the Cocktail Party.

I will seriously try to go see this one!

Maybe I can work in a mule deer hunt, too!
Get your request in early. I missed all the good Colorado ones because you have to submit in February and I didn’t even know I was coming here for sure until March.

Not a bad point. Could definitely see the logic but would want to see numbers to validate. I don’t want to lose the WLOCP for 2 reasons: 1) I like it - its fun and 2) I don’t want to give in to the whiny dawgs.

SLS is a neat town the plane ride sucks though. I wonder if tailgating is even legal there? Weird drinking laws in Utah...

I wonder if ucf is getting a better perspective about where they’re positioned in the big picture?

You expect FSU to be fixed by then? You, sir, are an optimist.

Agree totally. You control 4 OOC games a year and that is how I judge the schedule. Your conference games are mandated and I hate the argument that since we are in the SEC we don;t need to schedule tough OOC, Bull shyt. I would rather see us schedule this and lose than have Montana State Valley School for Sheepherding and Buffalo Bangin come in for a mercy beating.
