I actually agree with canceling classes considering it's a home game. It would be a logistical nightmare to have 35,000 students + faculty and staff on campus while trying to set up a home game. Students would also be dodging tailgaters left and right trying to get to class.

There's a decent chance they lose this.

I'm no fan of Thursday games but having one the first week of the year makes some sense.
For some reason, funny things happen for unconventional games (Thursday games, rainy games, etc.) that sometimes helps the underdog. They could also lose at Bristol and start 0-2.

Can't argue with anything that Armour says. It was dumb to agree to the Thursday night game to begin with. Hart continues to show his stupidity.

Its' all about education, except there are college games on every night of the week.
