Not the task, but the impression the kid has made. Didn't add this (should have), but Hevesy said they worked with the kids about how they treated people, not just those they had to or needed to, but everybody. He said they tell the players that they might not know the person pumping gas next to them, but it was very likely that the person knew them. Might be outdated to some, but a pretty good character trait and life skill as far as I'm concerned.Great report, thanks!
"It rang true to me when he said that one of the best indicators of character was the reaction from the school secretary when he arrived and asked to see Player X. If they lit up, you knew he had the people skills; if they were less than enthused, he was probably a dud!"
Ehh, that's a nice anecdote but I hope he doesn't really read too much into hourly wage earners failing to "light up" when they're asked to perform a task.
And as far as "hourly wage earners" go, I've known a bunch of them you and I would have had to stand on our mothers' shoulders just to kiss them in the ass.
