There's a reason Derek Dooley doesn't coach anymore.
you need to prepare yourself that should Butters not get fired, Dooley will likely be the next offense of coordinator for us.

Genuinely curious. Is anything NOT the fault of "PC culture" to you guys? It's the ultimate boogeyman. :rolleyes3:
I'm seriously not trying to be provacative. You know as well as I do there is a different level of PC at academic universities.
Look at Missouri. Their football team suffered as a result of the culture there. I don't think this question was too much of a stretch as to the mediocrity of the current state of football.
Plus I'm not applying a moral judgement as to PC, just if it has an effect. If I was I would have put this in the political forum.

This is how you end up with a writer like Dooley defending Muschamp long after it is clear that a change is needed.
.
I read an interview just this week in which Noah Brindise was defending muschump to the tune of he was just one player away. Dooley may well be a UF stooge, but lots of people didn't want muschump fired.

bllsh#t............you do not know what you are talking about. The food got better. Kids threw away no more food than they ever did. They used to serve a lot of sh#t to kids...........since then they got shrimp hush puppies. Tacos. Lots of sweet potatoes. Great salads. AND Ive seen lots of kids even young ones eating the salad. Have you read the stats of childhood obesity. Onset Juvenile Diabetes. I eat the food all the time.............this is just another fckn idiotic talking point ;promoted by moronic hate radio morons that havent set foot in a public school since Nixon was in office.

I assume that you are joking here since what I said is a widely known fact. I have multiple family members in all levels of education in multiple states and each one of them has endorsed this position as 100% true but let's not let that get in the way of a good rant.

So go ahead and call me names and attack me that seems to be the way we do things in America today

I didnt call you a name. I called BS and then pointed out where this blssht came from. Look Dad, we all know how much a segment hated Obama and even his wife. Healthy school food must be a fckn liberal communist plot coming from Michelle. But I have worked in the school probably as long as all your family member combined. I also have family member working in various schools in different states. We can have a dck swinging contest about this if you want but I work IN schools and have observed school food and eaten it since 1961. This was all politically motivated hate mongering cause his wife lead the charge. God forbid children get decent healthy food if a socialist promotes it.
Your widely known fact is and always was a Republican talking point about nothing..........nothing but hate for the promoter of said program............
btw I bet you can go find a picture or first personal acct. of horrible food in some public school. And I can go find an example of a cop that kills people randomly. Neither proves a point............

Why would anybody expect the AD to have a press conference and answer these sorts of questions. When / if Bull Gators start asking and offering to buy out coaches then something might happen.

I bet most understand as I do that a big upgrade in coaches is not happening and continual change is damaging.

Now I think our HBC can and should improve in a variety of ways, and we need better assistants. Those conversations should be private and be held closer to the end of the season.

He is getting a nice NFL paycheck as Wide Receivers coach for the Cowboys.
I dont watch pro football, never really have. I did not know this.
I did however see Derek Dooley make a great catch on Tennessee sidelines so this makes sense.

That would be one hell of an upgrade. Hell, Dooley at hc would be an upgrade.

Actually, in addition to teaching for 40 years I have cleaned bathrooms and nasty ass ones at that in school. I can see you think janitors are lower life forms but I guess some people need others to look down on to get that boost of feel good. Randomly was probably a lousy word. Maybe a video of a policeman shooting somebody running away with out a weapon or holding their wallet out or one of the other videos of a "mistake" You probably think I have little respect for LEOs and the reality is I have HUGE respect for them and believe they have as hard a job as any on earth especially in this day and climate., So join the contest. I stand by my comments and experience on schools and their bill of fair ..........
btw I just read your av quote........soccer guy so you must be alright............

There are no hard hitting sports reporters any more. No substantive or tough questions. All fluff and tripe. The Gainesville Sun showed their impotence when they failed to do any follow up or investigation into the "Hawaiian Guy" shooting years ago.

I don’t recall any hard hitting sports reporters ever except when the St. Pete Times went all Woodward & Bernstein on Pell, then led the meta-narrative that only ever trumpeted the number of allegations vs. the actual findings. Come to think of it, the same incomplete sloppiness was afire with the “32 arrests under Meyer” garbage. Had a reporter hit the data at all, as I did, they’d have found that those committing felonies were mostly dismissed and the misdemeanors had consequences too.

Where were the “hard hitting reporters” when F$U had two equipment managers arrested as bookies but never questioned how only one player was implicated (McPherson)?

Where were the “hard hitting reporters” when scUM’s strength coach was arrested for trafficking steroids while they were impossibly fast and aggressive - but no players were involved. Note: Dan Sileo curiously deflated after he left scUM and had to pass NFL testing.

Or when the Tally PD buried the jaMEis investigation for a year.

Or when an article about FSU players habitually misusing handicapped parking designations failed to notice the fleet of high-end SUV’s these poor, exploited college kids wondrously had in the pictures showing their exploitative parking.

I could go on, but....

When you allow a hostile education environment this is what you get. I seem to remember some people invading the president's office back in the day and getting arrested. One even was my RA and lived next to me. And back then Blacks and other minorities were almost non existent. If you go to college for an education and not some social experiment all this is mute. I wonder how some of these students think the education where they go is equal to Mizzu.

There is hypocrisy in this healthy meals at school movement and here it is = there is a vast body of science research proving that physical exercise rescues the body & mind better than eating 15% more "properly". Yet schools neglect that truth. Wherever a (scientific researched) monitored phys-ed program has been instituted obesity drops, grades go up, they're are fewer discipline problems, like fights, less depression councilling, fewer textbooks damaged, etc. Their publications on phys-ed designs are available but given too little respect. Not arguing, just adding.
