With players opting out of Bowl games, is it time for an expanded playoff?

I like an 8 Team play off because it adds only one more week of games.

I would reduce the season and start early. I liked playing only SEC Games except I would like a few Power Conference games but not some SW Montana Tech.

It also shuts schools like UCF up...You want in? Join a Power Conference.

And you can pine for the old system but it ain't coming back. Just like UF is becoming Public Ivy League South.

Let's face it the NCAA has led us here and after 2020...It's the new normal.

I'll say this...after the performance like last night...I'll never watch another non-playoff Bowl Game again.

I did miss the 1998 season... but that still doesn't change the point. The BCS got it better than the previous interations. And we only feel they got it right is due to that same hidsight and the lack of the information we have in today's environment.

BTW, I asked around like you suggested and everybody said that the 4 team playoff sucks, an 8 team playoff will suck worse, we had a playoff under the BCS system...the weekly regular season games and we should go back to #1 vs. #2. Everybody I asked also said that those people supporting playoff expansion in CFB are hopeless dolts that we need to pray for. We all agreed that we’d offer our weekly Mass up to you.
