It really does with our struggles with RISP.

We've minimized the damage from Michigan's hot start. I feel pretty good it's only one run at this point.

I'm glad Michigan didn't start this lefty last night. She is on a roll against lefties. Time for the righthanded hitters to get going. Michigan's top 3 hitters worry me.

We just keep failing to get it done with runners in scoring position. That's gotta change or we're gonna have to have several solo home runs.

Yep. Feels like 1-0 is the final right now.

Another boneheaded baserunner play by Michigan. Hope the Gators can take advantage of that. To make that mistake with a great hitter coming up could be costly for Michigan.

Can't win if you don't score. Need to put this one behind us and get ready for tomorrow night.

If you had told me the final score would be 1-0, I would have told you to get the champagne ready. We are built to win those type games...not the slugfests.

I agree. Haeger was the better pitcher the last four innings. Hopefully she will be tomorrow.

Hey the Gators had won 9 straight WCWS games so they were due for a loss. Haeger pitched well but the lack of offense killed the Gators. Merrit'ts botched play in the first inning didn't help either. She was unaware of the runner coming home. Geez that was costly. But the big concern is the Gators inability to manufacture runs. Just like in 2009 against UW. They made this pitcher look liker an all american. Michigan has the most potent lineup in the country. But the Gator pitchers have done well against them the first 2 games. How long can they hold them down for? 1 more game I hope. It's time for the Gator Girls to bring their A game for game 3. Or at least their B game.

Why don't our batters stop holding their bats at the fake bunt position and stand with their bat back visualizing the
full-swing hitting the incoming pitch ? That drawback swing puts the bat in a multi-variable swing-start every time.
Also notice that tonight's perfect bunt was laid down from the bat back position….. it surprised Michigan. So it's
counter-productive after the pitch to have to swing back then swing forward. While I'm at it, I don't like the batter
running forward at the time their trying to make contact with the pitch. The pros do not do that. Where did that
idea come from ?

Hoping gators unleash their hitting (slugging) tomorrow night and win it all over again.
