Brindise was a ****ty practice player, but played much better in games. He would have never been given a chance by Chimp or Mac. Anyone think Brindise was 10x better than Treon? Got to give Guy a chance at some point.

Guy isnt even good enough to get the backup reps right now.

I think if we had Brindise or Guy back behind that OL we would have had a dozen sacks tonight.

I think in your misplaced anger over Grier getting himself banned you forget that Treon dodged a number of sacks tonight.

It's not very hard to pull a top 25 recruiting class go look at the #25 team on any site and you will see its not that hard. If Mac was a smart offensive coach he should be able to do better than the last 4 games against lesser teams instead we have looked like pure Dookie in a toilet and it's gotten worse each week and will probably look even worse next week. He is playing his heart out, and like Driskel, he's just not good enough. It's not his fault there is nobody better than him on the roster.

I'm going to disagree with you. Treon was suspended last year, albeit, he was never formally charged by the DA and was reinstated soon after. He was then suspended again this year for a failed drug test. He was also cited and/or arrested last December for I believe driving without a license. There was also the whole issue of marijuana being found in a car he was in. I don't recall with certainty if the marijuana issue occurred at the same time he was caught driving w/o a license or if it was a separate incident but it seems to me that this guy either A) isn't the brightest guy B) doesn't give a damn and would rather party and have a good time rather than truly dedicate himself to honing his craft C) he's just one unlucky guy who happens to have bad luck land upon him as he goes about his daily routine of being a model citizen and teammate or D) both A and B. I believe that if Treon expended half as much effort working to be a great QB as he spends on his extracurricular dope smoking and partying routine I think the results on the field would be much better. When I watch him play, I scratch my head wondering if the guy even practiced that week, that's how bad he looks. I really can't believe that he could really be applying himself in practice and in the film room on his own time and still get results like we saw tonight. Because of that and all the BS he's been involved with in 2 short years at UF, I have a hard time feeling for the guy. Maybe that makes me a richard, but that's as honest as I can be.

Six sacks about 20 pressures and the announcers saying constantly that he has no time?

We finally benched Dillard after moving Riles to defense. Good moves IMO ven though we will take our lumps. Played TWO TRUE FRESHMEN at guards, played a 2 star with a lame shoulder who was advised to quit football at center, and played a IAA trasnfer whose other offer was Old Dominion and who got occasionally pancaked by a safety at RT. They played hard and tried but they got manhandled. They got manhandled by FAU last week and MlVandy the week before. Next week they will be destroyed by Bammer I expect.

No one called him Treon heisman but he is not the one who got outlrstarting QB banned. He is what we have left. Most teams cant wi with the starting Qb out.

House money. We were picked for 5th in the east bc we didnt have enouvh OL to practice, remember?

I think Mac is sticking with him because he has so many friends on the team and he doesn't want to create ill will or controversy at this point.

I pray we get Franks in here to early enroll. Skinny and young as he is he'll have a great chance to be the starting QB next fall. I already know it can't get any worse than this.

Enlighten me as to who is responsible for the offense? Who was brought in to this program to fix this offense? You said yourself the offense is garbage isn't that on Mac to fix or even make better than it was last year? The man has done nothing dif than what Muschamp was able to in his 2nd year. Mac made the offense worse

Watching the post game presser from Mac was kind of a head scratcher. One thing is for sure, we're going to sink or swim (that means we're going to sink) with Harris. Not sure what the rationale is honestly.

At the very least Mac would be sending the entire team a message that every job truly is an open competition week in and week out. I think that alone would cause the team effort and the team results to improve.

Sometimes you just have to face the facts. And the facts are the backups are a walk-on who couldn't make it off the scout team and transfer that got cut by Vandy. They most definitely could be worse than Treon which is very sad indeed. And probably explains why we don't see Treon with more designed runs because if he gets hurt we are really screwed.
Hey I expected it to take years to recover from Mustank and I think we are seeing that may take until 2017 to fully recover. We are lucky to have gotten the wins we have this season considering the o line and QB debacle AND kicking debacle. Plus it looks like we have at least one assistant coach that needs to be shown the door.
But I'm happy for the 10 wins and damn happy that the offense is at least trying to be an offense and not a TOP accumulator. I'l reserve judgment on Mac and Nuss until I see what they do with a real QB but I have faith it will be good.

Oh and just to set the record straight. if Treon were to break an ankle I would quietly break into my happy dance.

LSU was stupid for thinking of firing Miles. I like Les a lot and would take him over Mac in a heartbeat. I'm not a bad fan at all I'm not the type who expect a championship every year or the season is a bust. I understand that it's very hard to win a championship I just don't see Mac as a good coach. Everyone is all over his nads right now because we won 10 games this year. But they fail to see the coach was brought in to make the offense better and it's worse. It's Muschamp's players from the defensive side that won us every game this year. Mac did nothing to improve this team in his field of expertise. It makes no sense in the world that Baylor can put a true freshman Qb in and not skip a beat yet we can't score 21 on FAU. Your telling me Mac can't tweak this offense to score more points but he's suppose to be a guru on offense.
