I'd be more interested in knowing who was the safety and where he was.Gimme that Worton...

There's really no comparison from Morningweg to Trash. Or even Provancha, Guy or Gornto to Trash. Those other guys were all good enough to actually play in HS and earn scholarship offers from other schools. Div 3 doesn't count bc they don't HAVE scholarships just roster slots.Buy now it is clear the guy isn't a Mornhinweg roster filler.
I just hope Massey is the KO Return Man this year. I was sick and tired of watching Powell run the ball out from 3 yards deep in the end zone to get tackled at the 16 yard line. It was very frustrating and he DOES NOT need to return kickoffs this year!
I do not disagree with that notion on talent. Just think dissing a kid that has done everything asked of him is childish. That's all...
The kid wants to be a Gator and is working very diligently to get better. Slandering him is sh!tty especially by "Gator fans".
I'd be unhappy if our team sucks so bad we are forced to play someone of such little talent.\So Law... while we all know your opinion on Trask... would you be unhappy if it turns out he actually was a great find and does well at UF?

Taking a Div 3 school's future 3rd stringer is nearly as embarrassing as losing to a 1AA school, but I guess we should be used to this shyt by now.
You avoided his question. Would it upset you if Trask played well for our Gators? Yes or no.I'd be unhappy if our team sucks so bad we are forced to play someone of such little talent.

I'm very thankful we signed trask. Atleast it's made for some entertaining threads.

You've painted yourself into a corner and hope you have to eat a crow the size of a turkey. You've got me pulling harder for Trask than I ever expected to.

I'm looking forward to his response. But judging from Law's posts over the years on many subjects, he'll be happy to be wrong if the Gators are doing well. I just think his confidence factor is very high on Trask not contributing. So far, nothing concrete is there to point in either direction. Thing only thing that we know is that he isn't awful in his mechanics in non pressure situations.Law... just for the fun of message board discussion... lets entertain the idea that you may be wrong on Trask's talent and he ends up being a very good QB and doing very well for the Gators. Would you be happy that the Gators are succeeding or pissed that you were wrong on Trask?

The truth is, the so-called recruiting experts usually evaluate quarterbacks wrong simply because there are so many factors involved in a kid becoming a success. Using CBS Sports top 20 quarterbacks in the 2016 draft, the overwhelming majority of them are 3 stars with a few 2 stars. Going back to the 2015 draft, of the QBs drafted, there were only 2 QBs that were 4-5 stars. The rest were 3 stars with 4-5 guys that were 2 stars and under and 2 guys didn't get a single offer. They were walk-ons. Trask is even harder to evaluate because he played in an spread-option offense. So he didn't start or play a lot. Anyone who has seen him throw knows why Mac gave him a genuine offer.
