I hear you. More reason to move it to BR. Yeah, that sucks but is it better to not play it at all? I feel like this is a circular argument at this point.

Yes... an argument that you simply won't let go... JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER THING YOU INCESSANTLY B!TCH ABOUT...

Let's be brutally honest. There is only one person on the planet that will cause this game to not be played this season. We all know who it is, and that's all you need to know.
End of story.

All this thread shows me is why the winner's circle is such a lonely place.

I would not even remotely consider LSUs AD to be anything close to resembling any god. He's a bigger cry baby than T Rex.
Now I await my post to be reported by him

Oh, and ahh, God, technically not a "person"

This. We've offered Nov 19th all along. And it's not a perfect date for us either in that F$U is the following weekend. LSU either agrees to play then or the game doesn't happen and it's on them.

Dude, when there is only ONE person who agrees with you and that ONE person happens to be T-Rex you may want to reconsider your position. No REASONABLE person thinks we should have willingly gone to LSU to play.

Like I said, tell LSU they have to play in Tuscaloosa THREE years in a row and see how they feel about it.

Most of America agrees. Even here on local radio they were talking about UF negatively(which is great for recruiting btw). For the record, I do not think we should go "willingly". That's f ing retarded. Concessions should be made. Buck up little campers. Here's your participation trophy. The perception is we are wimps. Forget what I think...the rest of the college football universe thinks we are weak. Yeah yeah...who cares...we already look like crap with Mus and Mus II.

I don't mind the homerism, normally, but this is quite a sad state of affairs around here lately.

Also, for the record, lives are much more important than some game.

PS I noticed no one commented on FSU/Miami playing. They have ZERO kids from FL playing. Gawd, we are so wimpy these days.

Football wise, think we caught a break here. One less loss on the record. Not to mention how to mention how puckered Tennessee fans asses will be if we beat Missouri next week.

Uh, the SEC made the decision. I know you love anything that shows us in a bad light. The noles happen to be in the ACC in case you didnt know. I realize its Foleys fault for another persons decision but....

Totally agree with the bolded! Problem is... just yesterday and this morning you were pounding your chest and screaming we should have done JUST THAT! Gone willingly. And you completely bashed the admin for NOT doing so.

Fuch what the media is saying! Who f'ing cares??? They're getting hits and listeners by pouring gasoline on the fire which was started by your hero LSU AD. You were literally screaming for UF to do something that has NEVER been done before... to willingly move a home game (which you NOW describe as f ing retarded) BEFORE a catastrophic event occurred.

And the Miami thing has been dealt with and ignored by you. They were never expected to get much weather and what little there was, was clearing their area much earlier. Our kids worrying about their homes was ONE of many things mentioned but obviously not a primary reason for not traveling to BR. It's just something that, as usual, you sunk your teeth into and refused to let go of. The ACC decided Miami was safe...which it is. It's not our fault the SEC decided to cancel the game.

And I credit our admin for not caving and going to BR after the SEC cancelled... So to be honest... I'm not sure what you're arguing for anymore. First you screamed and stomped your feet and declared we should MAN UP and go to BR. NOW............... you admit that would be f'ing retarded to do that... so which is it Rexy... which is it?

I suspect the truth is what others have already said... the ones b!tching about NOT going to BR would be the same ones b!tching if we DID go. So my presumption about you yesterday was correct.?. A cat. 4 hurricane threatening 10,000,000 Floridians was just another convenient excuse to bash on the Gators.

You SURE you're NOT a troll???

Rex, I think you're missing the point. It's not a matter of just getting on the plane to Baton Rouge, it's the matter of these players having family in the path of a category 3/4 hurricane that is life threatening. I was as bummed as anyone to see the game cancelled but it's just a game. These players need to be with their families during this time. I doubt they're worried about a game when their loved ones are at risk.
