Sas, let's get back on topic. Please answer this question seriously and honestly:
What exactly did I state in the opening post that is not true?
Mike White has developed a team with an all-in mentality and a defensive identity. Hill sparks the defensive intensity. He is an asset to the team. He's the starting PG on an elite 8 team.
That is an interesting point.
From what I remember Hill didn't even play in OT. Cheese is THE MAN!
He did make 3 or so jumpers that we had to have in the 2nd half and made 3-4 FTs in the final min...so maybe not let him do so many drives to the basket, but he still played well most of the 2nd halfAdvancing through the tournament creates feelings like no other, but I feel we've done it in spite of Kasey Hill and his relentless boneheaded plays, blown point-blank layups, embarrassing flops, and cringe-worthy turnovers. I guess he's a decent defensive player, but he's always thought he's Michael Jordan on the offensive end. He's not.
He STILL plays like a true freshman instead of a senior. I wish Mike White would tell him to quit embarrassing himself and the team by continually driving the lane. Hell, he can't even make free throws.
Hill, I know you're reading this: stop trying to score!
Discuss.
Moron gotta moron. But lauds the POtuS maybe hacked him ......
Kasey is definitely a liability with the ball in his hands late in games. He did a decent job wearing down Koenig with the help of chiozza.
And Ox called Barry a waste of sperm last night. It's all good fun and I don't care but if you dish it out then be willing to take it. You ban PE then I'm out for good.
I think Kasey played in OT. Not sure how much. White pulled Allen a bit because he was gassed. Bottom line is we always evaluate Hill on what we thought he was going to be and not what he actually became. In the end he is an elite defender who contributes in nearly every game in ways that do not always show up in the box score. We are not here without him.
