SOSDD!

What ever happened to optimism?

Serious question, you have watched the offense for the last two years, right? Let me guess, no one could have done better with what Muschamp left us, right?

We HAVE to get in the Top 80 in offense. That would be an improvement. We SHOULD be top 50 EVERY year with the talent we have.

Sorry, you don't get to ask the question and answer it. That's just stupid! Oh wait... it's T-Rex

Unlike you, I start every year looking for better results, not feeling damned to be miserable by what happened in the past.

Top 50? Am I on another board. Did I take a wrong turn and end up at the Vanderbilt board?

Yes. It's exactly the same thing they think on the Kintucky and Vanderbilt boards. The hope to some day achieve mediocrity.

Yeah we SHOULD be top 20 but top 50 would be a HUGE improvement over the 100s we are in currently

We're like enabling millennial parents. Maybe we need to get more performance assurance before we front them anything more.
We seem to REALLY love the incompetent coaches.

I really don't understand this. If he doesn't trust Nuss to call the plays, then why didn't he fire him and hire someone else in the off-season? This makes no sense at all. Why pay someone you can't trust to do the job right?
At least a few head coaches in the NFL call their own plays. McCarthy for the Packers is one of them. Last year he gave up the play calling then he realized it sucked he took back control with better results.

That being said, you are correct that Nuss is paid way too much. Also, I will take anything at this point to improve the O.

The number of competent OCs in college football is pretty close to zero. Even the mediocre ones get HC jobs. In college you get stuck with the Nusschump's and Brent Peas of the world who can't even convinced Southwest Mobile State to hire them as a HC.

And yet, Mac said Nuss was contacted for head coaching jobs. :lmao2:

I used to love watching the gears turning in SOS head as he was calling plays.
