This one is a running play. The play calls for Scarlett to run around the left end. The offensive line does a beautiful job blocking. Scarlett may have to beat one defender at the line of scrimmage, but there is a lot of open space after that. Ahmad Fullwood has made his way downfield and is doing a good job blocking the safety. If Scarlett can just beat one defender on the edge this is a potential TD.

Except, the sophomore offensive lineman Ivey blocks the wrong man. He goes for the double team and leaves a gaping hole for the middle linebacker to come through and blow up the play. If Ivey accounts for his gap this is a big play.

This is the type of play a lot of fans look at and think "horrible play call". However, if Ivey blocks #18 that play potentially goes for big yards.

It's not the play calling. It's being forced to start 13 underclassmen.

I can't help it - this was an epic thread.

It is the coaching WITHOUT a DOUBT. Always has been and always will be as long as Mac is the head coach. He can't and won't change cause he thinks it will all work out. After 2 years and 1 game, it DOES NOT work at all anywhere. Winning a GARBAGE East and then getting DESTROYED by Bama IS NOT the way to go. Mac needs to go NOW.

Going into tonight's and tomorrow's games, the SEC is 11-1. We are the only losers who got embarrassed on the national spotlight. NumbNuss and McChump (at this point that nickname is more of an insult to Muschamp than McElwain) are 100% responsible.

Well the title is accurate. It' not the coach, but coaches.

So, has Mac (2222) posted anything on the board since that botched abortion we all watched in Dallas yesterday?

dis gon be goooood.

I actually think it is kinda funny how Mac (or some other lackey from his pathetic staff), went through all the trouble to attempt to educate us on why his team sucks at playing football (which is what he was hired to coach them to do), and basically got called out for it... and yet, here we are again, with the same damn result. If a person refuses to hold themselves responsible for their failures, it is up to his superiors to do so. Until someone up high decides to pull the plug on this corpse, I am glad there are still some proud Gators here who are happy to step up and call him out on his BS. The only way I will ever hold an ounce of respect for butters is if he were to admit he is in over his head, and immediately resign.

Anyone want to bet that 2222 doubles down on that loser Mac?

“We got to look at a lot of things,” “And yet it’s not time to hit the panic button. We’ve got a good football team. We’ll come back and do the right thing and be OK.”

How can he honestly say that? He cant believe that right? No offensive touchdowns.

I guess its easy to say all that when youre making millions from this university. Pretty cool isnt it?

This just means the coaches are (a) doing a poor job of teaching during the preseason and during the week, which is on the coaches, and (b) doing a poor job of calling plays within the players' skill set, which is on the coaches.
