How does North Carolina even have a basketball team right now? That school is so corrupt, and they just keep getting wrist slaps for the most egregious violations, violations that are a direct assault on the amateur nature of college athletics. Good God.

Not that I disagree, but I can’t believe they can sweep this under the rug and carry on, business as usual. There may not be mass firings, but I gotta believe there has to be some form of punishment. Suspensions, reduced scholarships, post-season bans, probation, something...................dammit!
:gah:
Well... Dookie has already come out and said they performed their own investigation into the matters and found "No Wrongdoing". Best guess, other schools say the same thing and it's a "He said, We said" situation.

Yep, as in all cases this will depend on the evidence and the nature of that evidence. The documents at yahoo sports are damning, but some parties will claim they are not true. Also of course many of these current players will be ex-players before the NCAA can act.

I suspect like many that any punishment that is handed out will affect the AU, NCSU, UAL UMD, UWash etc. and that the top tier programs like Duke, UNC, Mich State, UK will mostly skate.

It will be interesting to me to see how programs like UTx and Wichita State are treated. UTx of course is a school similar to UF in both academic and athletic stature. Wichita State is a social climber, but unlike the social climbers in the power conferences mentioned above Wichita State's rise might be viewed as positive in basketball circles.

Sean miller has been giving calipari a run for his money. It's been obvious for years.

Absolutely not surprised at Miller. If the two transcripts are as damning as they sound this could mean death penalty for Zona basketball.

Starting to think the NCAA will really have no choice but to smack down if things keep leaking.

Active players playing for many schools (Duke, Alabama, UK, etc.) are contributing double-digit points & close to double-digit rebounds per each game. Any game they won by less than 10 points they would have lost??
We need performers like that, but without the dishonesty. Some are 6'10", 6'11". Most are FR or Soph, some Juniors so they've been contributing for years.
All this is almost as despicable as our performance this season.

Took me awhile to think of whom Miller reminded me...
