Okay, I couldn't resist, even though this isn't exactly centered on the Masters, but more so on Woods. I got a kick out of this article. I would have thought these two would have gotten along like peas & carrots, swapping stories about banging ho's and what not. It makes me wonder if maybe Bill one-upped Tiger and nailed the Perkins waitress first, thereby pissing off Eldrick to the extreme when he found out about it.

Speith seems like the forgotten man.
Spieth hasn't putted well and the Masters isn't where you wanna try to reverse that trend. I'm thinking top 20 at best.

Watch out for a repeat by Sergio, I think he finally quit partying after last year's win. He also had a daughter a week ago and named her Azalea... Phil's playing well, would love to see him outduel Tiger down the stretch. Paul Casey is due to win one after numerous top 10's. Watch out for Kuch, and Bubba's shown signs of life this year. Freddy will dazzle for a day or two if it's warm, Koepka is out with an injury.

I'll go with J. Thomas or Rory. They're the two best players in the world right now.

Following nine holes of practice alongside Tiger on Monday, Fred Couples proclaimed Woods' level of play no different than 10 years ago.

"It was pretty awesome."

He mentioned Tiger nailed his drives all day and on #1 was 330yds
That's always promising...but the good thing about Augusta for Tiger is that you can get away a little with some errant tee shots...they don't grow out the rough much and playing from the pine straw is pretty easy for them. Approach shots, short game, and putting is the key here and Tiger's game around the green is spot on so far...if he can get his approach shots on point he'll be there on Sunday

This is my favorite week of the year. I f+++ing love Augusta. It is the most beautiful place on the planet. For a golfer, it is the closest thing to heaven on Earth as it gets. I have always said that Tiger might have one more major in him, and it would only happen at Augusta. This might be his year. His new swing looks beautiful. Much better than the flat-plane Hank Haney days. Tiger knows that course better than anyone else alive, including Jack; because it has been dramatically redesigned and lengthened since Jack's days. So, this might be his year.

I'm not the biggest Tiger fan, but it would be cool to see him win one more then say adios. However, I think it will come down to Bubba, Rory, and JT as the top 3. With the way Bubba is playing so confident lately, I expect him to win. I read some of the arguments earlier, and y'all can count me as one who thinks the game has been just fine without Tiger. We have a new class of young guys that are insanely good (of course, Tiger's impact played a huge role in them being so damn good), and the competition is so much tougher than when Tiger was in his prime. I'd like to see Tiger put his foot down and rise above these guys, but I don't think he can do it. Mostly because they all grew up wanting to be like Tiger, and they've been going after each other in a fierce way for the past few years. Any of these guys will probably win:

Likely: Rory, Bubba, JT, Speith
Probably:Jason, Rickie, Dustin, Justin, Stenson
Always a threat on Sunday: Phil, Tiger, Oosthuizen, Sergio

The winner will probably be one of those guys, with Bubba as my pick.

Named of course after Bubba Smith, Michigan State lineman in the Game of the Century.

I'm not joking either.

I think we all know it's Wood's tournament. He's already back into the heads of the poor slobs that bayou was babbling about earlier. Rory, Bubba, Speith....while solid golfers, those guys aren't even qualified to wash Tiger's jock.

It's great to have Tiger back so people can actually be interested in the game again and not doze off in the middle of it.

I'd like someone who disagreed with my take to specifically explain where I'm wrong.

Well first of all these young guys were not the ones getting clobbered by Tiger the last time he won a major a decade ago. He's not in their heads. While Tiger played great this year so far, I didn't see anyone falter at the end because he was in second. In fact the opposite - Rory turned in a great Sunday with Tiger on his back a few weeks ago. Tiger can win, he's still an all-time great, but the competition is that much better than it was when he was in his prime.
