With no fair chance then how does a new coach get started? If the ADs listened to you we would be in permanent failure.

I give them a fair chance then if they fail then I call them to task.

Mama does. 15 passenger white van. She calls it the "Catholic Assault Vehicle--CAV". We bought it used from a Mennonite car dealership in PA Dutch country when we were stationed at the Pentagon. Super nice and honest people, I was like "I think my trade in is worth about $5K". The guy was like "let's see if we can do better". Had it for 10 years but MAN it drinks gas like crazy

Talk Donkey and NV into joining you and that will be a big positive for the UF program. This year will be tough for any coach following the lazy Mac.

UF football is on the right track facilities wise and we have a hard working coach now.But don't expect immediate gratification from Mullen who has to dig UF out of the Mac hole.

Well giving Meyer and Mullen a fair chance after losses in 2005 ended up giving UF 2 national championships. Clemson giving Dabo a fair chance after losses gave them a national championship.

Meyer inherited higher rated recruits in 2005 than Mullen is inheriting now. There will be hits and misses but you have to give the new head coach a fair chance to get started.

I can imagine. My son goes to catholic school so I see plenty of those things in the parking lot. I remember I had a friend in the 80s growing up and they just drove an RV everywhere they went. Groceries, mall, movies they took the RV.

Points worth, at least, considering:

1) So, UF should have coach-shopped with a salary offer commiserate with the "team-quality" he was inheriting e.g. 100K, 200K, etc.? Then there'd be less to complain about.??

2) Normal fanship should not require that they 'in-depth' analyze the intricacies of the U's AD.

3) At what #-loss is it rational to condemn the new HC with new coaches at every position, new system & following a zen no-sweat HC & staff of 4-7 record in the easy East, that has grown a bit stronger = is 3 losses the gate to panic-land ? just consider ?

4) No coach dedicated to CFB-kids could "know" the damaged team a saboteur HC like Mac could leave.

5) At this point, it remains to be seen how competitive Kentucky actually is ... still up for considering.

6) Also consider that there are "sky is falling" posters on a mission to get Mullen declared a bust ASAP.??

I have no sureness about the future. That's something that will take, what? 2 losses, 3 losses, 4 losses while on a rebuilding path out of the McWilderness ?? IDK ?
