I have to add though....even when they made their run....which was more about us missing something like 10-12 shots in a row...we had several good looks. We also had some aggressive transition where we blew chip shots...including two fumbled long passes which both should have been scores. Can’t blame White (or pace) for these. We just didn’t finish.

I liked the way we held serve when the game tightened up. I felt we were in control the entire game and never had the uneasy feeling that we would blow this one. We appeared composed.

I also saw Hayes and Gak playing together at times. That seemed to be somewhat effective...wonder what the +/- was when they were paired.
Loved seeing that...I think it was more at the end though when Egor and Stone were in foul trouble..been saying that needs to happen for a long time now

Who did we have on the inside last year (that we don’t have this year) when we made it to the Elite 8?
Justin Leon, an underrated glue guy for us last year. His steady interior D and Hill's lock down perimeter D were huge last year.

Great way to end the season with some very nice wins down the stretch. Don;t give a hoot about the SEC tourney and doubt anyone else does except Alabama, Mizzou, A&M and MSU. We talked about it all year on here and the blue print to defend us was there today in the 2nd half when UK went zone and we stood around for 28 seconds before jacking one up over the top. Thankfully we had built a huge cushion. But if we play say a smallish school in the tourney who plays a lot of zone decently, and we don;t hit from deep, we could be in trouble. if we make those extra long 3's we will be fine, but zoning us is the way to go.

Don;t give a hoot about the SEC tourney ...

I suspect the NCAA selection team sheets are made up on Monday, since the committee members start arriving on Tuesday. I think maybe for some really controversial situation they might add information, but I suspect that UF's team sheet will show UF with 10 quadrant 1 wins unless UAR slides down a slot due to results tonight or tomorrow.

This year due to the % of 15+ pt leads already blown for losses. 6 of our 11 losses, probably 6 of 8 blown against good competition.

Most of the time I don't believe it but if we played that the way we have the other games it would have been. White stepped on the gas once it got under 10. Against Duke and Bama earlier in the year he did not. There is a reason it's a game thread
I understand. This team drives me nuts as well. But since their play is so variable, I try to keep quiet until the end.

This is why basketball sucks and why I pray you toolbags don't manage to do this to college football.
Can never happen with football. Not enough games.

It's why in the grand scheme of a total season, tourney, and playoffs (torunament)....basketball is a lot more fun imo. 2 losses doesn't mean you are just playing for ****s and giggles like in football. Both are amazing though

What happened? Did we win? I was afraid to watch for fear of being a loser. Next time, I'll set my DVR and have my girlfriend screen it for me. Go Gators!

TV reporting Lunardi has UK as a 5 and UF as a 6 even after our win today.

If UF is a six then the NCAA has to let some poor 3 know they potentially face UF in the second round. That would be someone like UTn, TxTech, UNC, AU, Cincy, Wichita St. and you can take out the SEC schools. So do you think UNC, Cincy, TxTech and Wichita St will be happy to face a team with 10 quadrant 1 wins in the second round? I can not imagine the committee doing that to UNC.

I think a 5 is about right for this team. A four seed knows it can expect at tough second round match. So I think it would be fairer and lead to much less complaining if the committee were to make UF a 5 and really a 4 is the same thing.
