I hear you, but they pretty much told him not to speak to the press period and he went out of his way to do the apology. Better late than never. Like I said, we'll see how genuine it was as time moves on.

These threads always bring out a lot of rationalizing by the the girl punchers.
If you're a man and you punch a woman under any circumstances other than her having a weapon, you're beyond a pussy and deserving of having your nuts cut off so that you can live the rest of your life like the b!tch you are.
And let's not forget Bob Stoops and David Boren's actions, or rather lack thereof, in this whole thing. Stoops had the gall to state that if this had happened today and not two years ago Mixon would have been kicked off the team. As if views on punching women have somehow changed dramatically over the span of two years. What a tool.
