From his bio he's a UF grad, lawyer, and runs a sports blog. As far as how connected he is I have no clue. Also i wouldnt be surprised if the statement he's referring to would be the typical AD cliche speech about we support Mac and he's our guy blah blah blah. Even if behind closed doors it isn't true.
