You keep saying this, but there is not a single DT on the roster at 250lbs or less. Every DL in that weight range is clearly an end. There are 5 of them on the roster, 4 of whom are freshmen.
And yet, Jachai Polite weighs 250 and is our third DT apparently. IDGAF what the roster says, he isnt more than 5-10 heavier than Jarrad. Ive seen them standing close several times.

CeCe? Wanna talk bout CeCe?

And who's fault is that? Mac is the reason the offense has not looked any better over the last 2 years. Coaches like Meyer/Saban would have adjusted to serve him. I watched Meyer change an offense in 2 weeks to beat UGA it can be done. I'd bet money if you took Nick Saban and gave him a pop warner team for a year they would look completely different the next year. And the bs is Mac will be given another year if he messes up because it will continue to be said let him get his own Qb in and give them time. At some point the finger has to be on Mac and imo it should be now
I was agreeing with you. Mac is nowhere near as good as Dabo. He's the offensive version of WM with a bowl cut

Sumhow Mac has 2 10 win seasons on his record ... 11 wins if you count last year's creampuff cancel + bowl win. 3 months away us fans should be looking/finding positive hopes for our 2017 season.

We got a 6'6" QB with a rocket-it arm for threading it in to tight spaces. The plays called will be the ones he can execute succesfully. Our backup QB could turn into a star QB? We have a very good cache of speedy WRs - some taller than usual. We have a stable of fine RBs. Our OL is bigger, stronger, better coached and will be better game-ready. Our defense will consist of a lot of guys who came in for the injured and kept that defense pretty level.

The eternal function of fans is to root for their team.??

There is a small but vocal breed of negators that reside on message boards. You won't convince them. SEC ran a poll about a month ago that showed about 4% wanted to get rid of Mac. But they hang out here.

There was a notable guy named Mike, a teacher in the Ocala/Gainesville market that I used to hear call in to all the local sports radio shows regularly and posted on the popular message boards. He railed about how Meyer's gimmicky offense couldn't work and was completely apoplectic after the Ole Miss loss in 2008.

He did have the integrity to eat his crow in public.

I am pretty sure Chump was in the same boat after his 2nd year too.

Let's revisit in Dec. Mac is 3-3 vs UT, UGA and FSU(and 0-2 vs Bama). That's not gonna cut it for the 4%'ers or anyone else for that matter.

So for your first point you have no data. Nuff said.

And Cece? Sure. Let's talk about him. He's wildly talented at his size and they used him as a QT in a 4-man front in certain situations. Meyer slid DEs inside at points too. It works. He's dropped some weight to focus more on DE. He's not been 250 since he was 13. Even you must admit the defense - including Cece - has been effective.

Yes, if by effective, you mean giving up the most yards in school history and getting blown out constantly.

Very effective.

I have no doubt that a super majority of the SEC fans and Noles want this shyt to continue forever. Why wouldnt they?

In a game mother fvkker. Most yards in a game.

Do you actually watch the games? Apparently not.

True - Muschamp was 11-2 (albeit an ugly 11-2), SECe co-champs and reeled in the #3 recruiting class after year 2. I confess I did not see the train wreck coming then.

A lot depends on how we look getting there. If things look hopeful despite a young teaming some losses (like 2007) that's one thing. If it looks like 2014, that's another. If we lose a starting QB or two it will be hard to assess.

Because teams that are "getting blown out constantly" wind up 5th in the nation in total defense. By your reckoning, 5th is the worst UF has ever finished in total defense.

Yes, you can easily get blown out by Trailerbammer, Clown Town, Tinerc and Piglets. Ff your offense is pathetic, you can have a statistically good year on defense and get blown the fvkk out regularly.

This is why statistics are for losers. Any decent team that wanted to score on us could score basically at will. Bammer and Clowns could have scored 80-100 if they didn't get bored with it. Hell, the Piglets didn't really even bother scoring more in the second half.
