I think that's just what sports fans have become. The days of coaches staying 20-30 years at one place are over with a few rare exceptions. A bad year or two and the fan base becomes disgruntled. I agree and it's extremely unfortunate. College football isn't the game it used to be and honestly that makes me very sad. I don't even want to think about how the landscape will look in 10, hell even 5 years.

We've all come to expect information, all of it, right now, plus the ability to express our opinions freely and spontaneously. None of that bodes well for football coaches lasting very long.
