That's Mc's way of dealing with these numbskulls. Everything is a choice with a consequence. They chose to do somethig that they knew would get them suspended. Therefore they made a "choice". He's used that term a number of times.

Yes they did steal; they stole from the team. They robbed significant practice reps from the dedicated young men that now must take their place. They robbed time and effort from the coaches. Whether we win or not, their actions hurt the team.

Not to mention the wasted money for their scholarships that could have gone to someone that actually wants an education.

"THEY'RE NOT SUSPENSIONS" That's pretty clear. Assuming the twitter dude is quoting Mac directly. I'm not a legal expert but it sounds clear to me regardless of what comes after the comma. We will find out for sure in a few days (or hours) but if they turn out to be suspensions then Mac got some 'splainin' to do.
