Dalvin Cook is their star … their best of the best … except conduct again.
TPD publishes the vict's name so fans can put undue pressure-influence on her
and to forewarn women victims in the future.

It took 17 days...and perhaps only after it hit the media...for a warrant to be issued? Is this normal, or was it being suppressed?

I'm sure he won't be kicked off the team. Which FSU player will go Hernandez?

Obviously should be kicked off the team, but it will be interesting to see if FSU goes that far. Too bad there isn't a video.

Also is it common for police reports to have so much redacted information, or is that just a Tallahassee thing with FSU players?

I know Jimbo has a lot on his plate right now, but when did he find out about the incident and the allegations, and why has no action (like a suspension pending the outcome of the investigation) been taken? They are so worried about their reputation and yet continue to shoot themselves in the foot.
No video equals no dismissal. Only perception matters.

This bar is about 100 yards from the City Hall and about 250 yards from the state capitol. I guarantee you there's a camera that captured this incident. If a video doesn't emerge, there's a cover up taking place. Book it.

Give Jimbo some credit. They're heading in the right direction...no longer raping women, just beating the **** out of em. :nole:

Question for the legal people (or anyone else that may know)...

Is it normal for police departments to redact information but still leave the victim's name visible? I guess I've never really paid attention until now with the BS that comes out of that particular department, just curious if this is normal behavior. Obviously I know redacting info during pending investigations happens all the time, just seems really f*cked up to continue to publish women's names who are accusing someone of hitting them.

The nerve of this woman. What is the world coming to these days when an innocent FSU player like Dalvin Cook gets arrested because some woman beats up his fists with her face?

On a serious note, I want to know that answer as well. Is redacting all this info normal police procedure?

I read the TPD's explanation of it somewhere. They basically said they were following the law and their procedures. :jerkit:

Not really sure what Florida's laws say about victim info specifically. Our Sheriff seems to list the names of victims in cases of battery like this but usually marks out the victim's name in domestic violence cases or rape cases.
