Each would be able to attract quality assistants as needed, and each would be smart enough to let them do their jobs. Butch Davis. The guy can flat-out coach. He assembled one of the best teams of all time at Miami. He won at North Carolina, and look at them since his departure. Bottom line, he can recruit, he can coach, has loads of experience.

It wasn't recruiting violations, it was improper benefits accepted by some players from off campus agents. He was not named in the NCAA sanctions.
