Not really. We'll win and all the haters will still be saying "but we haven't beaten anybody good yet".

Well, that's not quite right, they're not "haters."

More accurate to say they're Gator fans stuck in a mentality of "the glass is 90% empty, and what's in it is as tasty as battery acid."

(He says, while sipping a glass of cool, tasty lemonade, and enjoying it. Choosing to be happy most of the time can be a lifestyle choice.)

This is a winnable game, and imo the odds are in our favor especially with them starting an inexperienced freshman at QB, new coach, etc. Mac and most of the players have a year under their belt in this game, and should be ready for it. Georgia is down right now, we have a chance at Atlanta. Imo our guys will have the edge and we win this one

We better win this one. If that frosh QB does well and they squeak out a W... Against our current D and DB's..... That sets up for a long and miserable offseason considering what we have coming back next year on D.

Florida special teams have been a boost on the scoreboard in last two victories over Georgia

Now factor this in: the Bulldogs have been abysmal on special teams this season. UGA is last in the SEC in punt return and kickoff return coverage and despite having the dynamic McKenzie, is eighth in punt returns.

ESPN’s special-teams index, which measures all phases, has the Bulldogs 126th among 128 FBS teams.

Florida has shored up its only special-teams weakness of last season, place-kicking. Freshman Eddy Pineiro is tied for second in the SEC in field-goal percentage at .750, making 9 of 12, and he’s fifth in scoring by kickers with 46 points. Last season, two UF kickers combined to make 7 of 17 (.412) and scored only 55 points.

Georgia coach Kirby Smart is the one with kicking woes this year. He benched starting kicker William Ham after he made only 3 of 7 attempts but has seen a flicker of hope in Rodrigo Blankenship, who had field goals of 22, 36 and 45 yards in a 17-16 loss to Vanderbilt two weeks ago.

I grew up the son of a true orange and blue Gator. He hates Georgia with a passion. I never heard him say the F word around the house except when talking about georgia. Especially around this time of year. It was fk georgia this, fk georgia that.

... So we had this hot transfer student show up at my high school. Her name was Georgia. I knew there was only one thing to do.... I take things so literally sometimes. But then again, Dad always said I was the good son.
