we need some new news. It has been slow since this thread was started. Any new rumors I should be aware of?
Here's another nugget I haven't mentioned yet:

- For those who say Boosters do not make the decisions, there is truth to the assumption. However, they do have the final say when the negotiations take place. The powers that be will have to make a financial plea, being that buying out the entire staff will be upwards of 7 million dollars.

The positives from Muschamp's regime:
- undefeated against Kentucky and Tennessee
- no widespread legal or academic issues
- Sugar bowl qualification
- maintain reputation that we are strong defensively (I know the defense broke down in a few games, but they've been overall good/great)

And hopefully continuation of the no-shutout streak

PS - I still want him fired, I'm just trying to look for any positives

His defenses have been wildly inconsistent and not dependable. For his entire tenure, opposing teams have shut it down against us because they knew we were horrid on offense. When teams open it up against us and go for our jugular, they set records on us; see Alabama this year, see Missouri last year, see Kentucky this year, see the Sugar Bowl v Louisville. Too many times during his era, we inexplicably couldn't stop teams. I'm giving him nothing, not even defense.

What if Saban hired Muschamp as DC … Muschamp by Kiffen's side.

Also just read where UF's defense is ranked dead ass last in the SEC in 3rd down conversion % this year. Yeah, Muschamp gets NOTHING!

What an epic orgy on unsuccessful head coaches that would be.

Not really sure you would call it an orgy if only two are unsuccessful. Wouldn't it just be a coupling?

He would have alot of re-education to do to get rid of that losing stench.

That's ridiculous, and you know it. I agree it would be awesome if there was a "dislike" button or some such. That would be fun. But giving posters the power to ban someone by ganging up and clicking "dislike" on all their posts is not a wise dynamic to introduce.

It's done on another forum I belong to, it takes a lot of negative rep for it to happen though and it's a good way to rid of obvious trolls.

Someone just trolling is one thing but some of those sites would ban you just for pointing out the obvious if it didn't tow the company line sometimes. They have backed off now but was like that last season.
