The redundancy is staggering.

I'm sure they'll be buzz once fall practice starts. Hopefully that buzz won't be killed after the first game.

Cliff notes?
Most of it was nothing new. They spent a lot of time talking about the Phil Steele prediction about us possibly being the #1 surprise team and making a title run if everything goes right. Steele is a respected prognosticator, thinks defense won't fall off much at all and obviously thinks with the returning starters and talent on offense Florida will turn it around. Also talked about the anonymous coaches negative comments for whatever that's worth.
They outright said that Grier had a drug problem... beyond peds.
They said that Milton was a bad egg and HS coaches that know Milton told Mac to stay away.
They said the same things have been said about that 5* QB out of Cali so Mac will stay away from him.
A QB committed to NC Tyler Shough? 4* could get bumped to 5*and has an interest in FL and would be Macs target if Fields falls through.
Speaking of Fields they think F$U is the competition and has been recruiting him longer than we know. Jimbo can sell the success they've had, Mac has to sell the success we could have. Florida could lean heavy on Fields for a committed when he visits this week. Fields would be "seismic" for Florida in terms of what it means to recruiting for this season and next. Fields has said he wants to commit before he starts his HS sr season.

No knock on any kid we've passed up, but I hope there's some truth there which would explain some of the head-scratching decisions fans are witnessing from the outside looking in. Really hope Fields gives a verbal for the good guys and attracts other top talent.

And 2222, my parents still live in Gainesville and I’m there a lot. There’s no buzz there, either.
Have you seen the student body at a football game in recent years. All we get is national merit scholars and bookworms. The buzz is gonna come from the likes of young alumni and older. College is fckn serious now, haven't you heard. The old days of party hardy and gator football? AInt nobody (18-22) got time for that................
