Didn't really matter, we advance further in the tourney. I'm sure they would take a Gator loss and make it to the Elite 8 over a Gator win while getting whipped by Xavier in the 1st weekend.

Matters to me. Sick of losing to those guys. And we both ended the season with a loss, so that makes little difference IMO.

If Both Drob and Egbunu leave or we lose another he would be a good pick up. Could fill the Barry role off the bench next season

I'm willing to say he's better than Barry though. If we got him we'd have one of the best guard rotation in the country. Allen, Hudson, Cheese, Hester and Egor. Yes, please.

I am hoping that Hudson can fill the Barry roll at SF coming off the bench. Hudson and Barry are in the 2 to 3 rebounds per game, not that almost 9 rebounds per game of Koulechov.

Now I would not expect Koulechov to get that many rebounds at UF, but I could see him in the 5 to 6 rebounds per game range. Still Koulechov looks like a guy who though shorter than ideal could fill in solidly at a forward position.

Well I know you think this and one way this could be true is based on their potential as identified in recruiting. So here are the 247 composite rankings of each of the players I mentioned:

1. J. Hudson: National Composite Ranking of 191 with a SG rank of 46
2. C. Johnson: Composite Ranking of 263 with a SG rank of 63
3. E. Koulechov: Composite Ranking of 313 with a SG rank of 75
4. C. Barry: unranked at 247 or any other site that I can find.

So certainly Hudson was the highest rate of the players. He played in a better league than Koulechov and Barry, but the same as Johnson.

I prefer Johnson, but Koulechov is a pretty close second. I like Johnson better because I like forwards to be more like 6'8" tall rather than 6'6" tall.

I did find this interesting post and thread on Rupp's Rafters:

Re: cam Johnson

Michigan hasnt officially offered, but is expected to, and am told is one of the very early front runners.
It's a driveable distance for family, and likes coaching staff and tourney run.

Florida also may also be waiting on officially offering. Gators expect to lose Devin Robinson and Egbunu. Johnson loves the style and coaches--- has some history w/ one of assistants. Sees role with vacating Robinson. Florida also had a lot of success with last year's most prized transfer, Barry. Strong academics factoring.

UK certainly meets the "contender" criteria, but some concern over redundancy of players with similar size/profiles. Knows cats need shooter, but will he get recruited over? Cats offer best program, but concern of best fit. Like Michigan... proximity helps, and a loose association with Calipari.

I'd expect all three to get a visit.

I don't know about the poster or where he is getting this from, but there it is. You can click on the link to see how cats fans are reacting to this:

and here are some highligts of Johnson:
