I said he’s spent the last 2-3 off-seasons overseas playing basketball. He’s comfortable there. This is a good thing too. Maybe now Mann can play his natural position.
I wouldn't write him off as player running a teams 2nd unit or g league affiliate. The scouts seemed to really like him.

It depends on how much money he wants to make. Overseas, he will make 3-4 times what he makes in g-league. G-league may be the quickest way to the NBA.

IMO, NBA defenders will shut Nembhard down, his scoring and his passing success. I agree that our going thru Nembhard slowed us down.

Apparently he’s got a lot of ppl in his ear keeping him distracted and ruining team chemistry...most likely just testing the waters but he’s the kind of player that needs 3 years min.

Mann wasn't good enough to average 10 minutes per game as a gator.

I’m not arguing that...but it’s like fire and gasoline

Yeah right. Good luck with this Tre. Scott Lewis was barely a 1st round pick in some mock drafts and as of right this minute, Lewis's upside is a million times greater than yours based on athletic ability, defense, speed, measurables, etc. The only thing that Tre does better than Lewis right now is spot up/overall shooting. Guys can improve their shooting over time, but becoming an elite defender or being able to jump out of the gym is not in Tre's future. If Tre stays in the draft, he is destined for one of those finesse leagues oversees early on.

Mann seems to be taking advantage of the system which is smart. He isn't hiring an agent. So, he will keep his eligibility. Nemhard hired an NCAA certified agent so he keeps his as well. Both will probably be back uness they choose a career overseas.

A possible transfer from Michigan coming our way, 6'11 Colin Casleman:

Has played in 44 games as a wolverine. In that time, he is averaging 2.3ppg. Yep, sounds like the type of offensive player White-Trash loves.

If this kid showed up, he would only have 2 years for his game to decline. Unlike Mann who would have a full 3 years for his game to go south, so maybe that is why he is sniffing around. See Allen, Kevaughn.

I don't understand tre mann testing the waters like this. Under normal circumstances, i would. But there's not gonna be all the usual camps these guys can go to in order to get a full evaluation and showcase himself. Why not leave that option open for next year?

We are now one over the scholly limit which means one of Nembhard or Mann are gone. Interesting.

Also, apparently the big man from Mich was a top 100 recruit and has some potential.

Also also, if Nembhard leaves, Appleby will be our starting PG no matter if Mann comes back or not.
