Great game by the Gator O. Horrible game by the D which looked like they didn’t even show up to play.

It's the first game for everyone so there is going to be a lot of good/bad/other. Hard to say how cohesive all these teams were in practice. But here were the things that have nothing to do with the issues involving the Kung Flu:
1. 3rd and Grantham has not missed a beat and is humming with great precision.
2. Come to UF, put on a jersey, get listed as a Safety and you suck, BIG TIME.
3. Ole Miss defense is gawd awful.

we're damn lucky because he's the only mediocre linebacker we have.

I'd be happy just to see the linebacker and safety's coach gone at least.

you think we haven't recruited safeties or linebackers for 3 years and that defense is going to be the strength?

the problem is a roster problem.
lighting a fire isn't going to change the lack of talent at LB (real LB not Rushbackers) or safety. (The problem is more scheme and coaching at safety.)

how do you like that we'll just convert safeties to linebackers theory?

if he wanted to light a fire, he should have done it in the recruiting office a couple years ago.
