Trask has to be in the driver's seat for the Heisman, right?

If we win out and beat Alabama, he has to be the winner. There is no way around it, and any other result would be a travesty. There is absolutly no better story in college football right now.

Sadly we could lose to Alabama because Grantham, and Trask would still deserve it but will be overlooked.

With fewer games and an all-SEC schedule, Trask is on track to surpass all of Danny's passing statistics during the 1996 season. While he likely won't pass for more yards than Grossman in 2001, Trask so far has thrown for more yards/game than Grossman did that year. In 2007, Tebow averaged 4.2 TD's per game and 348 total yards per game. Trask is averaging 4.6 TDs per game and 362 passing yards per game this year while leading the country in TD passes.

I never would have thought to say this, but Trask isn't just making a case for the Heisman this year. Statistically, he's making a case to be called the greatest QB at Florida or at least have the greatest season by a Florida QB. There's a lot of season left, so I'm not declaring him the GOAT right now. Just pointing out how special and impressive his season is, and without the soft out-of-conference games like Eastern Kentucky or Florida State.

His stat line towers above the other quarterbacks, and he’s doing it in the SEC. There’s no ignoring this guy from here on.

Mark my words, if Trask keeps on throwing TD's and winning, within a few weeks you'll begin hearing murmurs - it'll start with a tweet, then a guest column or letter to the editor in The Alligator - about how the potential 4-statue lineup pictured above is, "problematic due to its lack of diversity."
Agreed. It only takes one person - LITERALLY ONE - to complain about something and completely change direction or policy at a University.

Well, I'm told over and over on this board that Trask has a lousy arm.
There are at least two throws in the Arkansas game in which Trask, seeing a closing window, zips the ball in with good arm strength (not Zeke Bratkowski strong, but strong).

I never went down frsternity row hunting cock like you?
I have a good friend who went to law school, but not undergrad, at UF and we were together last fall for the Auburn game and were walking over to Plaza of the Americas to watch a little of Gameday. At one point I asked him if the route I had chosen was the most direct, to which he responded that he had no idea. He said when he was in law school he never got further east on the campus than BHG. I guarantee you he never made it to fraternity row either.

Yeah, BHG, I lived close by. We used to go to Reitz Union, some intermural fields and play basketball in the middle of the night usually, that was it. I had no reason to be strolling across campus, especially not down fraternity row trying to pickup dudes.

We lived under the trees or in the library.

Well, wasn't me. But seriously, half the time you have to park in frat row for the law school. :bwahaha:

There's a library at the law school?:backout:

And on another note, Chuck Oliver, who is syndicated throughout the southeast, including Gainesville, opened his show saying Kyle Trask should be #1 on everyone's Heisman lists.

On the drive home tonight, I was listening to the show he does with Matt Chernoff here in Atlanta, and Chernoff said Trask basically has the award sewn up. He was comparing Trask‘s season to Burrow’s last year. Oliver pretty much agreed.

How could you justify Fields when he has only 6 games and his "biggest" wins would be over Michigan and Penn State who may combine for 1 win and Indiana who is doing well this year, but still Indiana. Clemson has a harder schedule

You must have been one of those T-Th afternoon types.

I was usually at school by 9-ish studying regardless.

I was there by 9 most days. Lots of professors started doing 8-8:30 classes. Especially 1L classes or classes that had 50-100 seats. Things filled up pretty quickly. Hindsight, being 20/20, perhaps I wouldn't be as hefty now if I just made the walk from Cazabella each day during my first two years in Gainesville.

EDIT: Also street parking was taken away. I understand that used to be a thing by the law school
