Oh, so @NVGator is making a huge assumption... which is contributing to what appears be a growing perception that he's a doosh.
Cool. So now we are going to use the KJ passed out excuse when we lose.
I’ll just leave this here. If that Barnes kid for FSU passed out, would all you be calling to quit playing the game? If you say yes, you’re lying to yourself. What if some random kid in Duke’s game passed out? Would you expect them to quit playing the game? No, you wouldn’t. It’s only because he’s a Gator.
Nothing you just said has anything to do with the fact that you casually downplayed a player collapsing on the court and acted like it's not a big deal. Nice unrelated whataboutism, douche.

We're not the same team without KJ. All that matters is getting his health back, and for now I'm assuming he won't be playing this season. Hopefully I'm wrong, but talk about a setback for a team that was looking like it had some serious potential. We were going to blow them out before Keyontae collapsed. We are better them
I’m not saying the game should have been canceled, but I don’t hate Mike White so much that I’m going to trivialize the severity of what happened to Keyontae. And while it would be a “tough guy” thing to say that the team should “shake it off” and not let it impact them, to expect a bunch of 18-21 year olds to have a pro-level of focus on the game is unreasonable.
Everyone understands that “things happen”, and there should be no asterisk or big picture excuse for the loss, but to not feel for the players and understand their concern in this circumstance can only be accomplished by a person who is an a$$hole to his very core.

I fear his season and career could be over. We just don’t know enough yet. I’m praying it’s not a heart issue. We're not the same team without KJ. We've had "potential" a lot every year because he can recruit and on paper we have solid players. We're not the same team without KJ. If you think I'm acting like a tough guy, you're mistaken. I haven't trivialized it at all, I'm just not in the camp that the game should be canceled. Sorry if that makes anyone triggered or upset.I’m not saying the game should have been canceled, but I don’t hate Mike White so much that I’m going to trivialize the severity of what happened to Keyontae.
