Speaking of irresponsible recruiting - Brandon Dorlus, DT from Florida, just had a sack in the P12 championship game. Also, Oregon starting NT, also from Florida, Jordan Scott (who was a miss by the previous staff). Both from Florida, both wanted to come to UF and somehow our coaching staff misses. Dorlus was a late UF offer and we apparently didn't push for him and he picked Oregon.

Yep, Dorlus was this staff. If I remember correctly, someone here was a huge fan of his and his name came up constantly. Not sure why we never looked his way until so late.

That was also the year we only signed Humphries, and the year before signed Langham (who transferred out in 19). Completely irresponsible. Dorlus was a low 3-star, but he had a solid offer list and decommitted from Va Tech just before signing day w/ speculation he was picking UF.....then he goes chooses Oregon.

Jack Abraham, 2 year starter and pre-season All CUSA quarterback has transferred to Mississippi State. Thought Leach was happy with Will Rogers. This should be a good qb competition.
