Nah. Still hate him.
I just can't imagine him coming back. he's going to be second round at least. now maybe he gets a chance to move into the first round, and that is big money, if he stays.
or maybe he just likes being the starting quarterback. God knows he's not guaranteed anything in the NFL and after waiting so long maybe he wants to savor it.
Obviously if he stays I'm sure EJ goes.
Please lord let the truth flow through this man
Damn youReal Robbie Andreu, last Grantham post, Dan Dullen thinks Grantham has done a great job this year.
Ha! Me too, but like I said a little less. Later in interview he was gushing about how much of a cushion our defense gave their receivers. Basically said it made running the offense a lot easier than expected..
And Brian Johnson should be given a lot of credit for this.
The only plays this year that were credit to Mullen are the ones Emory Jones ran, and the Trask dives up the middle on 2nd and long. THOSE are Mullen plays, and he's itching to get back to them full time.
Mullen's dream is to run a dive play 50 times in a single game; he's expressed that starry-eyed fantasy in multiple interviews over the years. In one particular one, Mullen's hips gave a sudden twitch when he was talking about it and his eyes rolled back a little; the interviewer was noticeably uncomfortable.
If Brian Johnson was smart, he'd do what Joe Brady did - flee now while his stock is hot. Trask is leaving and the vertical offense is going with him.
I gave you a ban because I don’t want my heart broken again
As I said in the chat, it’s so odd because he’s actually handled clock management really well this year, particularly at the end of halves. I guess his logic was we’re not playing for a tie, and with our defense, I guess that has some merit. But it forced the onside kick instead of a traditional. Either way, we’re probably staring at Harris for 3 plays. With 2 TOs, we get the ball back at our own 30-40 with a minute or so left. But it would be just to tie things. I guess he wanted to win. It makes some sense and could’ve been genius, but I think you have to conventional thinking there. He overthought it, imo.
Defense gives up 1200 yards and 89 points in two games.
Jesus and Mary Chain that is absolute ****.
The end of the year is where teams show maturity and development.
our defense did the opposite.
**** Todd Grantham.
No, that’s not correct. He could have saved the timeout by kicking the extra point to leave us down by 7 & gone for 2 and the win had we scored again.
The bottom line is having the 2nd timeout and getting the ball back with more time was more important than the strategic advantages of converting the 2 point attempt to put us down by 6.
So did Mullen praise the D for only giving up 52, and throw offense under the bus for not scoring enough?
