This market rivals anything I saw during the Dot Com era. The pockets of opportunity are sensational if you’re apt at stock picking and disciplined. SPACs, EVs and Bitcoin had been attracting a lot of the inflows.

Then Minerd blew everyone away yesterday by stating Bitcoin was undervalued at 20k. By how much? He pegged it at 400k.

I saw that interview with Scott Minerd as I awaited and hoped the Q & A with Powell would create some action, YAWN. But I think I heard him say that his 400K view was just based on scarcity? Did I hear that correctly or did I miss something about how it will become the currency of the galaxy?

I don't know much about Bitcoin, so I did a little research over the last month. A few weeks ago I bought a stock called MARA (Marathon Patent Group) which is a bitcoin miner. It was bouncing all around from $4.50 to $6.00 for the last month. This week it's blown up. It's over $10 today. It's basically a bitcoin ETF, if bitcoin moves so does this stock. I'm afraid to add more, since it's up 100% since I bought it. But some of the analysts are calling for Bitcoin to go up to $30K, which means this thing will keep going up. I only bought 205 shares (right at $1000) so I didn't kill it, but percentage wise I did.

He did but I think you have to figure that as a market factor.

I'm sure there are all kinds of plays on bitcoin, but I've just treated it like I do precious metals, as insurance. I bought a chunk when it was at $900, second time I bought a chunk was when it was at $7300. I don't even look at it because the volatility would drive me crazy!

Don’t discount the continued positive impact of this on the market.

Yeah, in the PF, I mentioned taking a look at the USD chart since March... funny how that works... dollar crushed = cost more dollars to buy things priced in... dollars.

Here's Crete's next idea for what he'll do with the dollar play! PS I like the 80's soundtrack to this movie and I like Teresa Palmer... she's like Kristen Stewart, but with a pulse and a personality!

So now each time I relieve myself I have to ponder whether it is cheaper to wipe my ass with toilet paper or the paper dollar. As I watch the value of the dollar plummet against most world currencies and during this era of KUNG FLU, I have decided that the toilet paper is a more valuable currency at this time

Are you saying I'm actually smart enough to already have moved money into emerging markets? Cuz the rest of that sh!t went 12 feet over my head..

So, "no" on the V shaped recovery?
I'll ride the markets and ignore the economy since popular belief says one isn't the other...but there there is an old saying in boxing that goes "take out the body and the head will fall.
Dollar falling
GDP falling
Consumer spending falling off a cliff.
This guy may be a goofy youtuber but he makes a ton of sense to me.....The Fed cannot save the economy.....and when the economy falls off life support....well...

I'm with ya 100%, I just gave up trying to figure out how long the Fed could play this game out, and the game is global.

It’s by no accident that the USD is falling. Trump, Mnuchin and Powell have fought specifically for it. A strong USD sounds good for chest thumpers and overseas travelers. A weak dollar helps pay the bills. You’re not seeing other nations go out of their way to prop up their currencies.

Wishing a strong USD is a slippery slope these days.

I see problems with GDP and consumer spending, add to that a certain upcoming increase in tax rates and now a mutating virus....there's a trap door somewhere around here....
