It’s difficult to fill open staff positions when the head coach is vacationing in the islands for 2 weeks. But what the hell difference does it make even if he isn’t on vacation...who wants to join the staff when your boss is doing nothing to quell the speculation that he might be jumping to the NFL in a few weeks?

The silence means one thing for certain: Both the admin and head coach are unhappy. It's a disaster for recruiting.

I just checked the Holiday Inn Shreveport for next the second weekend in December. Booked solid.

All I could get from the front desk was a first name, Scott, that it was a Chime debit card, and that it was declined on the initial attempt to run it.

I stayed in Hampton Inn Shreveport last year. If you called there you wouldn't have got an answer or call back so count your lucky stars.

My Lord, that hire is even worse than Mullen would have been. Good God.

For an AD whose ONLY credential to be known as "pr guy" how can he not see that every second that goes by without addressing this is harmful PR? I mean the guy was a MSU media intern that stumbled his way into the AD chair at UF, but this is ridiculous.

What needs to be addressed publicly?

Well it's not the best look for an Administration and a HC to be playing chicken like this.

Its not like the look was good before Mullen floated the nfl rumors either. The look will be worse if Mullen gets the contract extension and any attempt to address it in the public eye only confirms what looks true is true. The only one who looks bad as this plays out with no more action is Mullen. It is what it is and it would be a bigger mistake to address it imo. Maybe Mullen got the message this time.

I hope its been addressed privately though.

Ya, it doesn't look good for anyone, but the only thing to expect this point is after Mullen's contract is up, he's gone. His NFL bluff had to be called because I'm not sure if he even got an interview or not

Or maybe he got the message and he makes changes this season because of it and earns a contract extension next year. He still has 3 years on his contract remaining. Its not like his recruiting is killing it anyways so even that is a non issue. He can easily get another 10-15 ranked recruiting class in 22 without receiving that contract extension this year.

Who knows, this is a duo of Dawgs that have never won anything and honestly don't seem to really care about winning.

I would personally pay the buyout of grantham if i was AD, and I guarantee any gator or somewhat competitive person would do the same

I dont know if this is possible but if I was Strick I would entertain the idea of extending his contract with rewriting it to lower Mullen's salary. Id then tell Mullen he needs to fire Grantham or I will.

That Mullen is a fcvktard, that he made a fool of himself with his arrogant press conference answers & his stupid Darth Vader costume, that his wife needs to travel to another state for grocery shopping due to her hubby being incompetent, that Stricklan himself finally wised up to Mullen’s incompetence and that he’s officially fired Mullen for cause & no buyout will be paid.
