You want someone youthful. You want someone smart, energetic and charismatic, who can turn on the charm in recruits’ living rooms, and preferably who can call plays.

Okay, who is that? Hell if I know. There are 1,057 reasons why he’s probably not a household name and probably not available anyway.

Before we talk about a new HC, we have to find the right AD. Do any of you really want the baseball guy from Cowbell in charge of our next hire? I sure AF don’t!

I'm starting to agree with the donkey. Remember how the sports writers and media handled Muschamp and butters their whole tenure, just like they've handled Mullen. Then once they were allowed to take the kid gloves they were both fired within weeks. Look at all the tweets coming from the sports writers last night and this morning, that mother fuchers days are numbered and they know it.

It just sucks because deep down we all know their gonna hire some bullshyt like Gene Chizik or Charley Strong.

Gene Chizik or Charley Strong.

At least both have UF connections...ok, seriously, these would be ass (I know you're joking). Mullen isn't getting fired short of a Cam Newbauer like schedule. Even then, Stricklin would look the other way and give an extension. It's not about what anyone wants, it's about the reality of the UF situation. IF Stricklin goes down with the Newbauer ship, then maybe conversation changes. We can go 3-9 from this point and still he's back in 2022. He gets the facilities year and then decisions might be looked into.

I hate all the candidates mentioned except Joe Brady. That would be an awesome hire.
You hate the idea of James Franklin? I’d take him right now although I know we would never do what it takes to get him.

How about bringing back old Butter Teeth? I understand that he
isn't crazy about shoveling snow in Mt. Pleasant. And as an added bonus he has
bought some teeth whitening strips & has sworn off deep sea fishing!

Brady will have a nfl head job next season . Though it’s pretty close to a no brainer as a hire if we could get him . James Franklin also would do very well here .

Until an NFL head coach opening falls in his lap. There’s a reason why there are no more long-term college gigs. A guy like Saban comes around once in a lifetime and the money and pressure and portability that come with the job make it unlikely anyone stays anywhere very long.

Unless you find someone with ties to the football program, like a former player, who really knows how to coach. Even then, most people aren’t long for this kind of pressure cooker.

Didn’t he leave behind some kind of controversy at Vandy after he left? Looking the other way on players rape allegations or something if I remember correctly. I wouldn’t think the university would hire someone with any kind of questionable character in this day and age.
