moreover it doesn't make sense to try to replace six coaches, likely paying them double the going rate or giving them three your contracts in order to avoid paying a $6 million buyout to Mullinz which some of you think is the deal breaker.

but yeah you can go back to this time last year and see how many were predicting he gets fired this fall... probably only me.

but now I'm not claiming any inside knowledge. I don't even call the people I used to.

I just know you can't go 1-3 versus Ugly at the University of Florida and remain employed, whether HC or athletic director.

I claim no insider information, I don't have any sources, etc. etc. What I do have is several friends who are somewhat connected who in the past have known things in advance of most other people. All they say is that there is a great disturbance in the force and their personal belief is that Dan is out.

By any objective measurement this program is trending the wrong direction with no positives to point at. He's lost the fans. He's lost the team. I don't see how he survives this.

spoke with a buddy this morning who has an inside source in the UA office. He talked to him Saturday night and the word was mullen is safe for now but that granthem was out and possibly a few more. So far the source is correct.

One thing the source clearly indicated, however, was that mullen was safe... for now, but that if it gets any worse he may be gone as well.

We all know its about to get worse so.....
