I don't think Cristobal is leaving, but have you ever been to Oregon?

Life's too short to live in a cold gray rainforest.
He's young. His agent gets him a new five year deal when they fake the interest in miami and his pay is low relative to performance(at the moment) so he could negotiate a better deal. These other coaches getting $7+ give them an angle. It's looking more like miami is a difficult place to win.

It could happen. Miami does not have a lot of money but all they need is a field, two sidelines, and a 200 seat bleacher for their fans.
At the Hard Rock Stadium where the Dolphins and Canes play, the Dolphins built an adjacent practice facility earlier this year. The practice field has a small set of bleachers for fans to watch. When they released photos of it everyone cracked the same joke, which was that scUM should play their home games there instead of in the real stadium.

The truth is, they couldn't even fill that practice field stadium on a regular basis. Sad! :(

Mario “My Balls Freeze Up Like Crystals During Big Games” Cristobal is getting blown the fcvk out right now by an average Utah team. Buh-bye playoffs.

And to think this guy has as many
:nutswinger:on this board as he does is puzzling.

Noone has said he'd kill it here. The reason for his name being floated is bc his recruiting is on par with saban and Kirby. If he doesn't work out win wise, the next guy is set up like a king. There's no smoke show hire this year, so a roll of the dice needs to be on a stud crooter.

Now pull your head from your backside and take a breath.

That’s easy. If it keeps uga(or miami) from winning a title, you do it happily. Get your act together.
Not happily. I'd prefer they both lose in round 1 of playoffs.

IMHO, the game is about how the 22 players perform and the wins/losses. The thousands in the stands have little affect on the game other than making noise, but teams routinely practice with simulated crowd noise to negate this. The Gators have between 40,000 to 50,000 students enrolled compared with Miami's approximately 15,000 (a bit lopsided).Guess I agree with the late owners of the Raiders (Davis) in that he often stated, "Just win Baby, just win"

Bull shyyt. Plenty of people have said he’d be a great HC here.

Bull shyyt, too, on his recruiting being on par with Saban & Kirby. The guy is nowhere close to that level. He’s actually more on par with Mullen based off of the recruiting services rankings. In his time as head coach at Oregon, he’s had 1 class in the top 5 (3rd in 2021), one class outside the top 10 (13th in 2018), and the others were in the 7-9 range. The guy is an overrated clown. He sucked at FAU, he sux at Oregon and he’ll suck at Miami, too, if he goes there.

Good advice about pulling the head out of the azz…you should take it.

Cristobal would not leave Oregon on his own for scUM. Oregon has lots of money and top facilities. His recruiting is top10/top 5 and that is a big deal in coaching and overall program health. I won't be surprised if he gets a raise and extension. Miami has limited cash and horrible facilities and it's not like Cristobal needs south florida to recruit well enough.
