One of the bigger rubs on Napier is his teams having a tendency to play down to the competition. Does that sound like anyone you know of?
Hmmm, let me think. Maybe one or two or three of the last coaches we have had here.

Or, as my late dad used to say, "keep doin what yer doin, you'll keep gettin whatchyer gettin."

We should all be citizens before partisans. That’s not even on the radar screen for the party that’s gone haywire and Trumpers. Not close. Also, it’d be great if more people would love their fellow people, rather than denigrating everyone who is different than you. When an issue is discussed it’s “shoving the tranny crap everywhere”? I think loving your fellow man was discarded for some reason. Don’t have to like them to love them as people.

no one cares that you make love to trannies.

You guys are so funny. he got fired rather than adapting his offense at Clemson and he did not adapt his offense at Lafayette, why exactly should we believe he suddenly going to change his stripes?

That’s my concern. He needs to recognize necessary changes and adapt accordingly. If he doesn’t then we’ll look like Brent Pease is back.

What was the mood before urban came here? Not comparing at all. Honest question

I was excited about Meyer and getting rid of zOoK. This time Im just excited about getting rid of muLLLLLLen and trying to accept Napier, mostly because of where Stricklin might go if not Napier. I swear to God above if we whiff on Napier and start talking Campbell or M Stoops I will walk away from the Gators for a while.

Contemptuous that an apparent know-nothing outsider (Machen) would have the balls to come in and call football shots. The fans wanted SOS to get a shot. Machen would have nothing of it.

Foley, meanwhile, ran errands for Machen but took as much credit for the Meyer hiring as he could.

Is this OX's source ?

I thought it was already established by @soflagator that these two are Ox's source:

I will say this, I definitely wanted SOS, but I was damn scared we might miss on Urban and get god knows what.

An old college roommate asked me to describe why Napier was any different than Meyer in terms of potential coming in. I answered that I could at least understand what was coming out of Meyer’s mouth.

Yeah. remember all those times Mullen (EDIT: Meyer) scored 21 points in the WAC?

I meant Meyer.

I don’t recall Meyer being all that flashy at Utah. He found ways to win games, but he won most of the time. I think they went something like 14-1 the year before he came here. He had an aura about him.
