Same as my claim to the Gators and Bucs. I lived in Gville for a spell when my dad was assigned at UF in the ROTC program. 1976-1980ish era. After school, I basically just played on campus until Dad was ready to go home. Shot hoops in the Odome after it was built, ran around in the swamp and ran laps around lake alice. I would even go to football games by myself. I hit schnellenberger in the head with an orange as they trotted out on the field. Time of my life. My time in Florida was a huge influence on me and I root for those teams.
Okay, seems fairly legit for a Gators allegiance.

However, the investigation continues as to whether you are a front-running bandwagon-rider with respect to the Lightning. We may still end up pressing charges on that one.

When, exactly, did you start cheering for Tampa Bay in the NHL? WHEN!?!

I am still here.

There is no more serious naysaying than me.
You have lightened up considerably on Napier since we first discussed him. It's like night and day. And I had you blocked as a contributor from the Napier thread for days.

Because the only reason it's not true is because all the serious naysayers are on vacations.
Ahh, that explains why it's so quiet around here. They've all been sent to Oxshwitz to watch Rajin Cajun film until they are properly indOxtrinated.

I'd just like to say it was nice of you to give Donkers a job at the re-education camp, with a uniform and everything. He says the helmet really works!

While I am generally opposed to fans throwing things onto the field, the like was for hitting Schnellenberger in the head with an orange.

Speaking of which...

Kiffey's feeling pretty badass as he reaches up and snags that thing out of the air, then midway through the catch you see recognition dawn over his face as he quickly lets go of it: "That is a water bottle...but that ain't water."

Not so fast!

On the latest Stadium & Gale podcast, Ross Dellenger stated "Billy has a plan offensively, and it's his plan and I don't think anyone is going to be changing his plan... I'm sure he is going to be calling the plays... That is kind of non-negotiable with him."

You aint in charge of anything.

Since the day they became a team is when I became a Lightning fan. Same for the Bucs.

I sat behind some students who had a big box of oranges. I asked if I could have one to eat. They said no they were for throwing when miami takes the field. I said even better. We all threw oranges, mine hit schnellenberger and got high fives all around from the students (I was about 8yrs old at the time and was proud). Security came up and threw all them out and left me there because I was a kid. They laughed on the way out but didnt snitch. It was a great day.

Good article!

This was my favorite part:

Napier is his own quarterbacks coach, and he’ll call the plays at Louisiana, “because it’s as close as I can get to playing again,” he says with a smile. When he took over Arizona State’s offense last season, Napier created an abridged version of Alabama’s elaborate system, a one-back spread offense with pro alignments that can operate at varying speeds. The offense’s run game is mostly derived from longtime Alabama assistant Joe Pendry, and its play-action passing game comes from Lane Kiffin’s offense. :)

This was my least favorite part:

The scheme includes some Air Raid from his stint in 2017 under former Sun Devils head coach Todd Graham, and he borrowed Jim McElwain’s tactics for instructing and teaching passers, something on display during this quarterback meeting. :(
