So the two charts represent what UF paid assistants last year compared to that of the highest paid staff, not surprisingly Bama's received. UF paid $6.045M compared to Bama's $7.230M a difference not that great considering the on field performance of the two teams over the past decade. Based on results I would conclude either UF grossly overpays poor performance or Bama gets by on the cheap for exceptional performance. You folks fight it out.
Staff is more than just assistant coaches and on that, UF has one or two more people than Pell had in 1982 while Sunblet teams have three times the support staff and Bammer is rumored to have at least six times more. (they are not particularly forthcoming about their actual numbers but their support staff out number their players during the championship games. You we'll see that this week. they will all be in uniform, white running suits.)
I agree however that our athletic coordinator is grossly incompetent and gives pay raises an extensions to coaches who do not deserve it, seemingly anytime our team manages to beat Kentucky.
