Oops, Mullen has lost the players. He'll be fired soon. ... In reality, I guess accurate descriptive truths, even after the facts, could alert future hiring squads to make sure their future candidates are secured in all aspects of being the CEO of our UF program. Necessary because the "experts" that gave Florida Mullen are still in their driver's seats. In a way, comments like Dexter's will strengthen our program away from repeating the $12 million dollars Mullen fiasco. How could interviewers not notice Mullen's "cute" arrogance as a break from "nose to the grindstone" focus.?

We have a focused CEO now. So the players will put their unspoken & spoken faith in our "new era" coach. Go Gators, your fans are ready.
I suspect Mullen was faking it during his interview. He has that personality flaw that defaults to saying and doing that which suits the occasion. In other words, a phony.

schit talking mullen doesn't require winning anything :shakehead:
Speaking simply from a professional point of view. This guy is one of the most talented returning players we have and more than likely he will be very draftable after a couple of seasons. Believe it or not the NFL hires dumbass coaches/coordinators on occasion and they in turn look to "buddies" for inside info on players....see where this is going? And it's usually organizations like the Jags who also hold high draft picks year after year.....He simply should have made a statement about how good the new coaches are.

A few thoughts…

He’s 19 or 20. He’s not thinking about that and I doubt nfl teams are gonna care.

You worried mullen has an ounce of street cred in coaching circles after the epic implosion everyone witnessed last season? Any college or pro teams who reportedly called him? Anyone? Beuller? He’ll be lucky to have/keep a job on the SEC network.

Dexter’s “feed the homeless” charitable efforts are fairly common knowledge. I don’t think anyone has concerns about his character.

He’s got too much talent for teams to care about what he’s tweeted so far.

Even if mullen convinced a buddy to turn his nose up, there are 31 other teams who will think that guy was an idiot for passing on the kid.

Even if mullen gets hired, any self respecting DC will tell mullen to worry about the offense stay out of his business.

JMHO.

Professional point of view? I thought you were full time managing the For Sale signs for your realtor wife.

Jumping to conclusions must be your area of expertise. Or are you drinking a bit much for noon on a Saturday?

I’m saying you’re showing a lot of concern for a kid who is in no danger of getting blackballed by the nfl. That’s it. Nothing more.

Who said blackballed? Maybe he gets passed over from an "unfavorable" recommendation during the draft?

mac is at central Michigan and tg is unemployed. What’s your point?
They're still in the coaching circles....ever heard the term best to not burn bridges.....we could go on and on but there really was no up point to the tweet...again a better way to say it would have been to comment on how good the new coaches are, right?
