Its really kinda smart af. Read the article in the original tweet. Now that there is the portal and NIL, you have to work to keep what you got while you go out and try to get more. They basically had a junior day for the current players and parents and that probably translates to keeping some players out of the portal. Plus, the staff got to sharpen that recruiting weekend muscle.

The attached story was a good read. I doubt any parent would make a negative comment for fear of it coming back to bite their son, but they sounded cautiously optimistic. They all seemed really happy about the concept of the event and the effort by the coaches.

Really like the work that CBN and the staff are putting in. When it comes down to it, it is relationships, period. Really like how Katie Turner put it. They're 100% in on making things right. We've been looking for this kind of effort, hell, really any effort from a staff. Just nice to see something positive and most of all, just plain putting work in.
