disagree The SEC could capture the entire state of Florida viewership with both FSU UM The LITTLE10 already captured all of Southern Californi. texasa&m couldn’t stop Texas from being admitted. If the SEC really wants the nolez and canez theyll tell UF too bad So sad.

Why would any "fan of the Florida gators" suggest, even just slightly, that FSUx and scUM should join the SEC?

Joining the SEC would make those programs more prestigious. How would that benefit UF in our competition with them for HS recruits?

Well does being in the SEC help the program right now? Currently with recruiting it’s not... if comparing with MiamI. Where’s all this SEC money that the tv contract is giving to the schools? The SEC is currently BAMA and UGA If you’re talking prestige...the rest of the teams are on par with the rest of CFB give or take. Conference pride has always been stupid to me

The blue chips go to BAMA and UGA for the bags and trust in those staffs to get them to the pros. the Recruits don’t give a **** about the conference they just want to win make money and get to the nfl. I didn't ask how it would benefit the SEC if those other schools joined. I asked how it would benefit those other schools.

The question was, if the prestige of being in the SEC is mostly just hype like you're saying, then why would FSU and UM want to join the SEC? What's in it for them, if Bama and UGA are the only truly prestigious SEC programs, and "conference pride" is just some kind of stupid myth?
