Great interview with Mizell. Go to about 4 mins in the to hear about his experience with Mullen. Basically Mullen didn’t know who he was or that they’d already met.

The one thing I don’t like is at the very end when asked if he was going to Friday night lights, he didn’t know what that was.

He’s a great kid though. Worth the watch.

I have seen more people on Twitter refer to the weekend as the cookout rather than FNL. Perhaps the messaging towards him and others might be something other than the FNL name we’ve come to get to know? Mizell is popping his commitment next Friday.

Options:
1. He’s not going UF and it’s an awkward weekend.
2. He’s not UF and cancels, has kept the date to throw off suspicion of his true decision.
3. He’s UF, commits Friday and hopefully begins a chain reaction for the weekend.

Side note, would love to see the new facilities open this week before FNL so our players see it first and then we can show it off. This probably isn’t happening though because completion times are only years behind at this point, what’s a few more weeks? Granted, some to be expected when Nape wanted some changes (almost equivalent to last minute when you look at overall timeline) after taking over.

So the facility that was announced in 2015 and then delayed to build a worthless baseball stadium that pushed the opening to late 2021still isn't done yet? Crazy. I'm sure the golf team is pissed that they can't use the pool yet.

He’s not on any list I’ve seen for the cookout or FNL.

Funny enough I thought the same thing, but someone on Twitter said to me that our players haven’t seen it yet and therefore, recruits haven’t because we aren’t showing it to them before the current players. I’d be touring it, but word is they are not.

To the Mizell/Cookout and not being on the list comment. I thought I saw it somewhere. However, I might’ve read something wrong or saw something from someone who acts like they are in the know, but aren’t. The timing of the commitment to FNL is interesting. If he doesn’t come to UF with his background, again questions have to be answered.

It looks like John Walker is expected to commit to former national champs ucf over Ohio St. and UF. From the reports, this is all mama. She wants her little boy close to home. He will still be visiting the good guys. Many think the staff will eventually win her over and get him to flip to us.
