Defense gives up some running yards but holds a good Utah team to a manageable number of points.
AR makes a few mistakes but settles in and does a nce job.

34 -17 good guys!

I can just see it now….

Late 4th quarter, Rising drops back to pass and hits a wide open WR streaking down the sideline as Trey Dean trips over his own feet. The Utah fan base is going wild while there’s agony on the Gator faithful faces as they were hoping to start the Napier tenure off with a shutout.

Gators - 34
Utah - 7

JFC, Uta lost to San Diego State, BYU and Oregon State. Their big claim to fame is beating lame duck Mario Cristobal twice.
If you look up "overrated" in a dictionary you'll see a picture of the Utes.
Yeah, but that SDS crowd is tough to overcome.

Gators by 17, ball control, ball control, ball control. Rising will throw 2 picks and the d line will have 4 sacks. Gators 37, Utah 20.

Feels like '82 all over again with USC coming into the Swamp.

Sean Salsibury still has nightmares over Wilbur Marshall
Cam Rising meet Gervon Dextor and Brenton Cox

We all know how that went.

Sling Blade has won me over with his recruiting, and the fact that we haven't heard a ton of stories about off season trouble out of the players leads me to believe he has the team buying in.

UF 32
Utah 18

Each team misses 3 Xp's.

I’m thinking this will be similar to the Barn game in 2019. The swamp crazy loud and and a close game until a late UF TD puts the game away. My crystal ball also shows a Gator pick-six. Couldn’t quite make out the number, but it looked like Jason Marshall.

That Auburn team was 10 times better than this Utes team. San Diego State was too much to handle for them, and that was last year before they lost several key players.

You guys calling a close game are going to look like fools. You won’t be able to get away with, “boy, sure glad I was wrong!” - you’ll be getting a vacation. I have to teach you some hard lessons.

Are you freaking serious? This may be the dumbest sports take in the history of the Chatter. Playoffs? Dude, after this first game they are going to be dismissed by every pundit in America as a serious contender. They may be the most overrated team to start off in the top 10 I've ever seen.

For every point the Gators win by, you're getting 3 days off.

Gators 45
Utah 16

@Pablos Tunnel actually liked your ridiculous post, so he's getting the same deal - 3 days off for each point.
If we put 45 up Im making a donation and buying you are Zima

What this game really comes down to is how well our offense does agains their defense and how well our defense does against their offense. Can't forget special teams and penalties either!!! :lol2:
If one coaching staff plans to get an early lead, that’s a massive advantage. May be impossible to overcome.
