That Auburn team was 10 times better than this Utes team. San Diego State was too much to handle for them, and that was last year before they lost several key players.

You guys calling a close game are going to look like fools. You won’t be able to get away with, “boy, sure glad I was wrong!” - you’ll be getting a vacation. I have to teach you some hard lessons.
I’ll take the beat down or whatever; I just think that it being the first game in a new system is going to hamper our effectiveness some what. Its the one advantage Utah has and it will be impactful, but not enough. And if this was game two, I’d predict a much different margin of victory.

You should actually take great comfort in my prediction as I am usually wrong with this kind of stuff.

I know we haven't played game 1 yet but I'm really concerned how a big win vs the Yoots makes our team's heads swell and we play poorly in game 2.

Actually slept a bit and thought more on this thread, and while I do believe we shoot out like a cannon as opposed to stumbling into a new system, there is the concern that we garner more hype than is earned. Meaning Utah likely over rated, and beating them by a little or a lot is NOT an indicator of us being world beaters. Our heads DO get swelled, something new for a CBN team, something long lost for most Gator players and many fans, tbh. Swelled heads heading into the TN game, where reality crashes in and we only win by 28 in Knoxville.

Utes will play their nickel and dime offense against Gators with some success early, limiting sack opportunities. They may run pre-planned series of plays with quick snaps to counter the noise. Up tempo takes toll on UF defense and Utes have 13 points by half. UF adjustments at halftime limit Utah to 7 points the rest of the way.

UF stumbles around their first series due to adrenaline nerves and go 3 and out. Second series is better but stalls for 3 points. Second quarter AR settles in and leads Gators to 7 points. After halftime AR and running backs take control for 17 more points.

27 - 20 final and Gator fans celebrate throughout the night.

This would be a real concern with either of the two previous HCs. I don't see much going to CBN's head. And he strikes me as a guy whose team will always follow his lead. Can't wait for Saturday.......

Our guys are gonna be so jacked up that they'll take the opening drive, jam it into the hands of the RB, and curb stomp that undersized defense down the field for a TD. The only thing Utah is going to know is that they were woefully unprepared for the amount of frustration, courtesy of the previous staff, our guys are going to unleash on them. This game will be a statement game to the country that the Gators are back. Hide yo wives, hide yo kids, dey Chompin' errybody up in dis bizatch.

What a shock that you are still busting a nut over these crappy west teams where you live. You'd have Nevada winning this game, too.
Nevada couldn’t compete. Although they did give FSU a run a few years ago. Utah is on a completely different level and the Coach knows WTF is going on.

It’s amazing the blind faith and trust you have. However most of your predictions are always wrong. I can’t believe this post even got a Like @Bernardo de la Paz

Feels like '82 all over again with USC coming into the Swamp.

Sean Salsibury still has nightmares over Wilbur Marshall
Cam Rising meet Gervon Dextor and Brenton Cox

We all know how that went.
Any post with Wilber Marshall in it deserves a like, Go Gators.

My only regret that wonderful day was arriving just after the national anthem by Jimmy Buffett. Wilber mauled them.

And dip. Don't forget the onion dip.
Utah lost to San Diego State, BYU, and friggin Oregon State last year, and by all accounts, they are weaker this year after losing some key players. They played an OSU team in the bowl game missing 19 players and no motivation and STILL LOST.

To me, it takes more blind faith to say that team is going to roll into the Swamp on what is sure to be an insane opening crowd and beat an AR15-led Florida Gators.

JFC, Uta lost to San Diego State, BYU and Oregon State. Their big claim to fame is beating lame duck Mario Cristobal twice.
If you look up "overrated" in a dictionary you'll see a picture of the Utes.

Exactly. People don't understand how bad the Pac-12 is. Kintucky....:gulp:... is a far bigger challenge.

I agree. My sauces say Coach BN has been paying tremendous attention to those details, and has decided to forfeit at kickoff on Saturday. He figured its the best strategy moving forward, swoll heads and whatnot. Can't have that on his watch.

Yeah, no, if you agree, then why the facepalm? Maybe your sauces aren't Heinz 57 but are actually Remy Martin.

And before you explain that your post was "sarcastic", maybe you should first learn to read (and comprehend) sarcasm. :dunno:
