Waiting on my flight....delayed. Watching UToothless with this juggernaut they have. I'm sure they were saying we're back by the end of the 1st. Big Vol Daddy has probably had a stroke by now.

0-10-1...but won our first SEC IN 1984 and paved the way for SOS.
This is a very tough opener for a 1st year coach.

There was a major culture shift from Zook => Meyer, rooted in self-discipline. Remember how he banned them from the locker room and made them earn the right to wear Gator gear? The stripe on the helmet that got removed when a player was deemed to be on board?
Almost to a man, those 2005 Gators credit Meyer with changing their lives, a notable exception being Marcus Thomas’ weed issue. It showed on the field.
In a different way, Napier has done the same. He is spot-on with his methods to get the most out of each player. They are all saying the right things, but we’ll start to see Saturday night how well those lessons have taken hold and how much the team culture has changed. If it has, our talent advantage will shine. But I like his methods and direction and expect a much better team out of it.
